Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Public Relations, Shafi Jan, has strongly condemned the terrorist attack carried out on security forces in Bajaur district last night and expressed profound grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of security personnel in the incident.
Paying tribute to the martyrs, he termed the attack on security forces a heinous and deplorable act, adding that the entire nation stands united in the fight against terrorism.
Shafi Jan stated that the sacrifices rendered by the security forces are a matter of great pride for the nation and that the sacrifices of the martyrs will be remembered in history with honor. He emphasized that the blood of the martyrs will not go in vain.
He prayed for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, saying that the provincial government stands firmly with the families of the martyrs in this difficult time.
Meanwhile, the Special Assistant also strongly condemned the drone attacks in Bannu and Khyber district, stating that the incidents in which innocent civilians, including a woman, were injured are deeply regrettable. He said that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the security forces have made immense sacrifices in the war against terrorism.
Shafi Jan further stated that the injured civilians are being provided with the best possible medical care in hospitals and assured that the provincial government will extend every possible support to the affected families.
He also prayed for the swift recovery of the injured.
