Vision & Mission

To provide factual and broad-based projection of socio-economic, political and religious affairs of the Province to the general masses in the print, electronic and social/digital media. Information & Public Relations Department has a vital role to perform when it comes to the attainment of a secure, just and prosperous society. It bridges the gap between the government and the public thereby contributing towards promoting good governance in the province.

Functions under the Rules of Business

  • Public Relations
  • Newspapers, books, magazines, pamphlets, posters and printing press
  • Production and distribution of films and documentaries of general or educational interest in consultation with Department concerned.
  • Service matters, except those entrusted to Establishment &Administration Department.
