SACM KP SHAFI JAN INAUGURATES NEW CLASSROOMS AT GPGC KOHAT, ATTENDS AWARDS CEREMONY AT AHDAF SCHOOL

Special Assistant to the Chief Minister (SACM) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Public Relations, Shafi Jan inaugurated the newly constructed additional classrooms at Government Post Graduate College (GPGC) Kohat on Monday, a development aimed at enhancing educational facilities and meeting growing student needs. The project, completed at a cost of PKR 35.927 million, is expected to provide students with a more conducive learning environment.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Shafi Jan said the government is committed to improving education sector and prioritizes the provision of fundamental facilities in academic institutions. “The government has a responsibility to provide quality education to the youth, as they will play a pivotal role in the country’s progress in the future,” he said, emphasizing that the new classrooms will significantly improve the student performance.
The event saw a large turnout of the college principal, faculty and students. The college administration extended gratitude to the guest of honor at the conclusion of the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Shafi Jan also attended the annual prize distribution ceremony of AHDAF School and College Kohat as the chief guest, where he praised students for their outstanding achievements and lauded teachers for their dedication. He underscored the importance of providing modern, quality education to prepare the younger generation for contemporary challenges.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of awards and certificates to top-performing students, with Shafi Jan offering his best wishes for their future success. School administrators, teachers, students and parents were present in large numbers.
