Special Assistant to the Chief Minister KP on Information and Public Relations, Shafi Jan, has strongly condemned the suicide bomb blast at Imambargah Khadija-tul-Kubra in the Tarlai area of Islamabad, expressing profound sorrow and grief over the tragic incident.
In his statement, Shafi Jan said that targeting innocent worshippers inside a place of worship is a deeply tragic, inhumane, and cowardly act that deserves the strongest condemnation.
He stated that such acts are a blatant violation of human values as well as religious teachings.
He stated that Islam, like all religions of the world, strictly forbids the killing of innocent people and attacks on places of worship. He further asserted that anti-state and anti-humanity elements will never succeed in their nefarious objectives. the entire nation stands united against terrorism.
He added that the provincial government stands shoulder to shoulder with the affected families during this difficult time and fully shares in their grief.
The Special Assistant also offered prayers for the elevation of ranks of those martyred in the blast, patience and strength for the bereaved families, and the speedy and complete recovery of the injured.
