Special Assistant to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Public Relations Shafi Jan has said that ensuring law and order, promoting good governance, and strengthening transparency in government institutions are the top priorities of KP provincial government. for this purpose, Chief Minister Sohail Afridi is personally overseeing all administrative affairs of the province.
He added that to resolve public issues, eliminate corruption and provide services at people doorsteps, Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has initiated a series of online Khuli Kacharis. In this regard, clear directives have also been issued to the administrative secretaries of all government departments.
In a statement issued here, Shafi Jan said that in line with vision of Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has introduced a comprehensive system titled “Awam Ka Ehsas” for the effective, prompt and transparent redressal of public complaints. Through this system, citizens can lodge their complaints via various digital and traditional platforms. He described the initiative as a significant step towards good governance.
He further stated that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has a genuinely elected public government where complete freedom of expression prevails. Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, following the vision of PTI founding chairman Imran Khan, belongs to an middle-class family and under his leadership, a new era of people-oriented governance has begun in the province. he said further that this era will guarantee peace, development, and prosperity.
Special Assistant Shafi Jan asserted that all attempts to malign the Chief Minister will fail, adding that honor and disgrace lie in the hands of Almighty Allah.
He clarified that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has also ensured complete freedom of expression for opposition parties and journalists, as freedom of expression strengthens democracy and promotes democratic values.
Shafi Jan further said that Chief Minister Sohail Afridi visit to Sindh has opened a new chapter in the history of street movement. The enthusiasm of the people in Karachi, Hyderabad and other areas is clear evidence of their political awareness. He added that street movement will continue across the country, further mobilizing the public politically and that a system of oppression and fascism will no longer be allowed to prevail.
