Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Public Relations, Shafi Jan, has extended heartfelt Christmas greetings and best wishes to the Christian community across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the rest of the country.
In his message, Shafi Jan said that since the creation of Pakistan, the Christian community has played a significant role in the country’s development. He added that the provincial government highly values their services for Pakistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and fully shares in their joys and celebrations.
He said that under the leadership of the Chief Minister, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has recently approved a special package of Rs 8.6 billion for minority communities, which includes social development projects as well as cultural activities. He termed this initiative an important step towards building a harmonious and inclusive society in the province.
Shafi Jan further stated that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is taking serious measures to promote interfaith harmony within the province and is committed to ensuring equal opportunities and protection for all communities.
He reaffirmed that the provincial government remains determined to build a peaceful, stable, and developed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where every citizen feels safe, respected, and dignified.
