Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information and Science & Information Technology Shafi Jan has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the Shadi Pur Police Check Post in Kohat and expressed deep sorrow over the incident.
In a statement issued here, the provincial Information Minister expressed grief over the injuries sustained by police personnel in the attack and conveyed his best wishes for their speedy and complete recovery.
Shafi Jan said that the terrorist attack on the police check post was an extremely unfortunate and cowardly act. He said that terrorists would never succeed in their nefarious objectives through such cowardly acts.
He said the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government was continuously enhancing the capacity of the police and Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in the fight against terrorism. The police had been equipped with modern weapons, advanced technology and other necessary resources to effectively meet the challenge of terrorism.
The provincial minister said that the government’s efforts to completely eliminate the menace of terrorism would continue.
