PHE Minister Fazal Shakoor Khan chairs important review meeting of various schemes

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Public Health Engineering, Fazal Shakoor Khan on Monday presided over an important review meeting of PHE schemes in Peshawar-I, Mansehra, and Upper Waziristan.

The meeting was held at his at Civil Secretariat Peshawar which was attended by the concerned Executive Engineers (XENs) of the respective districts along with other relevant officials.

The Provincial Minister was given a detailed briefing regarding various ongoing schemes of the Public Health Engineering Department. The concerned XENs informed the Provincial Minister in detail about the current status of the projects, progress made so far, challenges being faced, and the future course of action.

On this occasion, the Provincial Minister issued directives to the concerned XENs to expedite the pace of work on all ongoing development schemes.
He emphasized that the timely and transparent completion of these projects must be ensured so that the public can benefit from them as soon as possible.

He issued further directives to all officers to play an active role in the field and regularly monitor the progress of the projects.

The Provincial Minister said that the provision of clean and safe drinking water to the public is among the top priorities of the current provincial government.

He added that the ongoing schemes of the PHE are of great importance for public welfare, and their timely completion will provide thousands of people with access to clean drinking water.
