The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Public Health Engineering, Fazal Shakoor Khan on Wednesday distributed appointment letters among the newly recruited tube-well operators-cum-chowkidars belonging to district Tank. The ceremony was held at the Minister’s office in Peshawar, where the Additional Secretary, Chief Engineers, and other concerned officers of the PHE department were also present.
Addressing the ceremony after distributing the appointment letters, the Provincial Minister said that government employees are servants of the public and bear to perform their duties with honesty, dedication, and a strong sense of responsibility.
He added that the KP government is taking comprehensive measures to provide basic facilities to the people and the Public Health Engineering department is playing a vital role in this regard.
The Provincial Minister directed the newly recruited tube-well operators-cum-chowkidars to perform their responsibilities with sincerity and ensure the provision of clean drinking water to the public at all costs. He emphasized that the supply of safe drinking water is among the top priorities of the government and that any negligence in this regard will not be tolerated.
Fazal Shakoor Khan further said that government institutions are established to provide quality services to the public, therefore, all officials must fulfill their duties with a spirit of public service and contribute towards improving the overall performance of the department.
The Provincial Minister congratulated the newly recruited employees and expressed his best wishes for their future. He expressed hope that the new appointees would, through their hard work, honesty, and dedication, positively contribute to enhancing the department’s performance and ensuring better service delivery to the public.
