Provincial Law Minister Distributes Grant Cheques to Hangu and Thall Bar Association

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Aftab Alam Advocate has said that lawyers play a pivotal role in ensuring access to justice and the provincial government is fully committed to their welfare and professional development.
“The legal fraternity is the backbone of our justice system,” the minister stated while addressing a formal ceremony organized by the District Bar Association Hangu and Tehsil Bar Association Thall for the distribution of government grants among lawyers. “We are making every effort to resolve the issues of the lawyer community on a priority basis because justice cannot function effectively without the judiciary and the bar working hand in hand,” he added.
During the ceremony, Aftab Alam Advocate handed over grant cheques worth Rs. 5 million for the District Bar Association Hangu and Rs. 2.5 million for the Tehsil Bar Association Thall to the respective office-bearers.
He further said that the government is maintaining close coordination with the legal fraternity to strengthen the justice delivery system and ensure timely redressal of their concerns.
Later, the Law Minister held a detailed meeting with the members of the Insaf Lawyers Forum (ILF) Hangu chapter, assuring them of full support and cooperation.
The event was attended by the MNA Yusaf Khan, Tehsil Gumbat Mayor Sajid Iqbal, PTI Orakzai General Secretary Abdul Rahman, Kohat Bar General Secretary Mudasir Khattak Advocate and a large number of senior lawyers from ILF and bar associations.
