Provincial Minister for Health, Khaliq-ur-Rehman, presided over an important meeting with the representatives of the Insaf Doctors Forum to discuss matters related to the improvement of healthcare services and the role of young doctors in strengthening the health system. The meeting was held in a cordial and constructive environment.
During the meeting, the Provincial Minister appreciated the role of the Insaf Doctors Forum and stated that it is a positive and effective platform which can contribute significantly towards bringing meaningful and sustainable improvements in the healthcare delivery system of the province. He reaffirmed that the Health Department is fully committed and serious about moving forward with collective efforts, setting aside all personal or group interests for the greater good of public health.
The Minister emphasized that the doctors associated with the forum are young, energetic, and highly talented, and their skills, dedication, and innovative ideas are vital for the growth and improvement of the health sector. He added that the health system can only progress when all stakeholders work together with unity, professionalism, and a sincere sense of responsibility.
He further stated that the government is determined to utilize the energies and capabilities of young doctors for institutional development and service delivery. The Minister highlighted that constructive criticism, identification of gaps, and positive feedback are essential for reform and strengthening of the healthcare system.
