Shafi Jan Strongly Condemns Terrorist Attack on Police Mobile Van in Dera Ismail Khan

Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Information and Public Relations, Shafi Jan, strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a police mobile van in Dera Ismail Khan, expressing deep sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of three police personnel in the incident.
In a statement issued here, Shafi Jan said that anti-state elements will never be allowed to succeed in their nefarious designs. He stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi, the provincial government is striving to establish sustainable peace. He added that the provincial government is taking concrete measures to enhance the capacity of the police, and maintaining peace remains the top priority of the government.
He noted that, for the first time in the province’s history, a Peace Jirga was convened in the Provincial Assembly, bringing together political leaders, elders, and representatives from all walks of life.
Shafi Jan further said that such acts of terrorism cannot weaken our resolve. He prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs and for the swift recovery of the injured, stating that the provincial government stands shoulder to shoulder with the families of the martyrs and will provide all possible assistance.
He added that the government and security agencies remain committed to eliminating terrorism and will continue to take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of the public.
