Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Housing, Dr. Amjad Ali, met the newly appointed Director Legal of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Housing Authority, Johar Ali Shah, in Peshawar on Tuesday. On the occasion, the Special Assistant welcomed the new Director and issued instructions regarding the resolution of legal complications hindering the timely completion of various housing schemes.
He stated that development work on on various housing schemes under the supervision of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Housing Authority is progressing rapidly, and it is the desire of the Chief Minister that all housing projects be completed on time in line with public aspirations and needs so that the people of the province may benefit from their outcomes.
The Special Assistant further added that New Peshawar Valley is the largest residential project of the province, and the Chief Minister has, in light of the cabinet decision, transferred this housing project from PDA’s supervision back to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Housing Department so that work on it can be expedited like other departmental schemes.
Dr. Amjad Ali expressed hope that the newly appointed Director Legal would take effective measures to resolve the legal complexities and issues in the completion of housing projects.
On this occasion, the newly appointed Director Legal of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Housing Authority also assured that he would make every possible effort to implement the directives issued by the Special Assistant in letter and spirit. He affirmed that he would utilize his skills and experience to resolve the pending issues of housing projects in the best possible legal manner and would employ all his energies to swiftly remove the legal obstacles hindering these projects.
