The construction work of Imran Khan Cricket Stadium Peshawar should be completed as soon as possible. — Taj Muhammad Turand

The Advisor to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Sports and Youth Affairs, Taj Muhammad Turand, has said that the construction work of Imran Khan Cricket Stadium Peshawar should be further accelerated and the stadium should be made ready for sports activities as soon as possible. He strictly instructed that the stadium must be built according to international standards, and no compromise on the quality of work will be tolerated.
He expressed these views during his visit to Imran Khan Cricket Stadium Peshawar while speaking to the concerned officials. On this occasion, Secretary Sports & Youth Affairs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Saadat Hassan, Director General Sports Department Tashfeen Haider, Director Development Munir Abbas, Director Works Ahmad Ali, Director Imran Khan Cricket Stadium Jaffar Shah, and other relevant officers were also present.
During the visit, the Advisor reviewed in detail the quality and pace of the developmental work at the stadium. He said that the provincial government is utilizing all available resources to provide maximum sports facilities to the youth, and for this purpose, various projects are being launched at district and tehsil levels across the province to promote healthy activities.
He added that the construction project of Imran Khan Cricket Stadium Peshawar is of great importance, and it is the foremost desire of the present government to complete it soon in accordance with the expectations of sports enthusiasts. He instructed the concerned officers to immediately bring any issues hindering the project’s completion to his notice so that the project does not face further delays.
