Minister Excise Chairs Key Meeting on 132kV Budal Chagharzai Grid Station Project in Bunair

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control, Syed Fakhar Jehan, chaired an important meeting regarding the new 132kV Budal Chagharzai Grid Station project for PK-26 constituency,held at Deputy Commissioner office in Buner.
The meeting focused on the required measures and arrangements for the timely and effective implementation of the project,while, attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner General Muhammad Qaiser Kundi, Additional Deputy Commissioner Relief Muhammad Akram Shah, Project Director Grid System PESCO Peshawar Imran, PESCO Operations XEN Bunair, Assistant Director Finance Ikhlaq, WAPDA officials and other relevant department officers.
Speaking at the meeting, the Provincial Minister emphasized that the Budal Chagharzai Grid Station project, included in last year’s Annual Development Program with an estimated cost of PKR 300 million, is aimed at providing a sustainable solution to electricity supply issues in Bunair.
He further instructed that, if necessary, additional funds should be made available for the project.
The Minister directed that the PC-1 for the 132kV Budal Chagharzai Grid Station be finalized and submitted to the concerned authorities within the next three days to ensure timely project execution.
Following the Minister’s instructions, the Project Director PESCO Grid System and WAPDA officials visited the Budal site to review all technical and administrative aspects of the grid station’s establishment.
