Prompt resolution of public issues, regional development and public service remain top priorities: Minister Excise Syed Fakhar Jehan

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control, Syed Fakhar Jehan, has said that the development of underdeveloped areas, provision of basic facilities and timely resolution of public issues are among the foremost priorities of the current provincial government.

In line with the vision of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder chairman Imran Khan, every possible step will be taken to ensure public welfare and service delivery through the principles of transparency, justice, merit and equitable development.

He expressed these views during a Public Day held at his hujra in PK-26 Buner, where he met public delegations from the constituency and addressed various joining ceremonies.

The provincial minister held detailed discussions with the delegations regarding regional development, ongoing welfare schemes, provision of basic civic facilities and the resolution of issues being faced by the local population.

The delegations apprised him of certain concerns related to basic infrastructure and public services, discussed key development schemes, and requested immediate redressal of issues of public importance.

He said that timely resolution of public issues and equal development across all areas form the core vision of Imran Khan, which the provincial government is actively translating into practical measures.

He added that empowering youth, ensuring transparency in development projects and bringing less development regions into the mainstream of progress are important pillars of the government’s policy.

The minister directed the relevant authorities to take immediate steps for the resolution of public grievances and further accelerate progress on development and welfare initiatives so that relief could be provided to the people at the earliest.

He further stated that maintaining continuous public engagement, directly understanding people’s issues, and adopting an effective strategy for their prompt resolution are among the key priorities of the present government. He made it clear that no negligence in projects of public welfare would be tolerated.

On this occasion, Altaf Hussain, an important political worker from Jamaat-e-Islami belonging to Tehsil Chagharzai, Union Council Sorey Village Landai Bazar Kot, along with his relatives and associates, resigned from Jamaat-e-Islami and joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Former Tehsil Nazim Haji Muhammad Sharif Khan, known as Baba-e-Chagharzai, along with party workers, was also present at the joining ceremony.

Meanwhile, the provincial minister also met local elders and notables in Union Council Shalbandai and later attended another joining ceremony as chief guest in Mohalla Band Kalay. On the occasion, Bakht Zareen Shah, Zamrud Shah, Rohamin Shah, Tariq, Ismail Shah, Saqib Zareen, Suhail, Asif, Faisal, Razi Mand Shah, Shafiq, Salman, Bilal, Samad, Mehran Syed, Bakht Munir, Bakht Nazir Shah, Syed Wazir Shah, Luqman Shah, and Zahir announced their joining of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.The provincial minister welcomed the new members into the party, congratulated them on their decision, and expressed his best wishes for their future political role.
