Khuli Kachehri held under the chairmanship of Provincial Minister for Public Health Engineering, Fazal Shakoor Khan

PESHAWAR: An online open court (Khuli Kachehri) was held under the chairmanship of the Provincial Minister for Public Health Engineering, Fazal Shakoor Khan, aimed at ensuring prompt resolution of public issues and strengthening public engagement.

Citizens from various parts of the province participated in the session through telephone calls and directly presented their concerns to the Provincial Minister and senior officials. During the proceedings, the Minister personally listened to public complaints and issued on-the-spot directives to the concerned officers for immediate resolution of several issues.

The session was attended by Secretary PHE Masood Younas, Additional Secretary Jahangir Azam, Chief Engineers, and other relevant officials. Participants also demanded timely completion of ongoing development projects of the PHE. In response, the Provincial Minister assured that efforts are being accelerated to ensure completion of all projects within the stipulated timeframe.

While taking notice of public grievances, contact numbers of complainants were also recorded to enable the concerned Executive Engineers (XENs) to follow up and resolve issues effectively.

Speaking on the occasion, the Provincial Minister said that resolving public issues at their doorstep is a top priority of the current KP government, and all available resources are being utilized in this regard. He emphasized that the Khuli Kachehri serves as an effective platform where citizens can directly access senior government officials and present their concerns without any intermediary.

Fazal Shakoor Khan further said that such open courts are bridging the gap between the public and government departments, thereby enhancing public trust. He added that citizens are able to ask questions directly, and relevant officials provide immediate responses, leading to quicker resolution of issues.

He maintained that, on the special directives of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sohail Afridi, open courts are being held across the province to ensure timely resolution of public issues and to promote good governance.

The Minister reaffirmed that the series of Khuli Kachehris will continue, and every effort will be made to resolve public issues at the earliest. He concluded by saying that the current provincial government is committed to public welfare and is taking all possible steps to improve service delivery alongside ensuring timely completion of development projects.
