Rescue 1122 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Responded to 18,760 Emergencies During August 2026

Rescue 1122 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provided timely emergency response services across the province during August 2026, responding to a total of 18,760 emergencies from August 1 to August 31.

During the month, Rescue 1122 responded to 15,038 medical emergencies, 2,126 road traffic accidents, 769 drowning incidents, 497 other emergencies, 415 fire incidents, 270 crime-related incidents, 96 wall and roof collapses, 28 mine-related incidents, and 17 small and major explosions, including cylinder explosions and other emergency incidents.

Rescue 1122 provided medical assistance to 22,947 patients during these emergencies, while affected people were also rescued and shifted to safe locations where required. Rescue teams carried out timely rescue operations in several incidents and provided immediate assistance to people in distress.

The highest number of emergencies was reported in Peshawar with 3,989, followed by Mardan 2,672, Nowshera 1,477, Swat 1,135, Dera Ismail Khan 1,003, Swabi 966, Lakki Marwat 847, and Bannu 760.

Similarly, Rescue 1122 responded to 574 emergencies in Abbottabad, 459 in Charsadda, 393 in Kohat, 398 in Malakand, 362 in Bajaur, 338 in Khyber, 292 in Haripur, 295 in Mansehra, 277 in Lower Chitral, 278 in Shangla, 270 in Buner, 224 in Karak, 228 in Upper Dir, 219 in Kurram, and 381 in Mohmand, while emergency services were also provided in other districts across the province.

Throughout August, Rescue 1122 personnel provided immediate and professional emergency services in medical emergencies, road traffic accidents, fires, drowning incidents, building collapses, crime-related incidents and other emergencies.

Rescue 1122 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa appeals to citizens to call 1122 immediately in case of any emergency and cooperate with Rescue 1122 personnel during emergency operations.
