On the directives of the Provincial Minister for Higher Education and Local Government, Meena Khan Afridi, the Higher Education Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has constituted a Grievance Redressal Committee to ensure transparency in the recruitment of Visiting Lecturers.

According to an official notification, the committee has been formed to examine and resolve complaints submitted by candidates regarding the ongoing recruitment process being conducted on a semester and credit-hour basis. The initiative aims to promote merit, fairness, and accountability in temporary hiring across the province.

The Grievance Redressal Committee will be headed by the Special Secretary, Higher Education Department, and includes the Additional Secretary (Colleges), Director General Education, and other senior officers as members. The committee will scrutinize all complaints, verify facts, and submit its findings and recommendations to the competent authority for appropriate action.

Candidates who have grievances related to the recruitment process are advised to submit their written complaints on or before December 26, 2025. No complaints will be entertained after the stipulated deadline.

Speaking on the occasion, Provincial Minister Meena Khan Afridi stated that zero tolerance will be exercised against favoritism, corruption, and nepotism in the recruitment of lecturers. He emphasized that ensuring transparency and merit-based appointments in the education sector remains a top priority of the provincial government.
