Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Syed Fakhar Jehan has said that the impartial and immediate resolution of public issues, acceleration of the development process, and elimination of deprivation in backward areas are among the top priorities of the present provincial government.
He stated that under the leadership of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and in line with the vision of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan, the mission of public service is being carried forward effectively. He expressed these views while meeting various public delegations during a Public Day held at his hujra in constituency PK-26 Buner.
Delegations, elders, and citizens from different areas of the constituency and district Buner continued to visit the provincial minister throughout the day.
The delegations apprised him of issues being faced by their respective areas, including development schemes, basic facilities, and other public concerns.
Syed Fakhar Jehan listened to the public issues in detail and issued on-the-spot directives to the concerned authorities for their immediate resolution.
He said that the provincial government is taking practical measures to provide relief to the public, ensure timely completion of development projects, and address the deprivation of underdeveloped areas.
The minister further stated that the vision of PTI founder Imran Khan is based on transparent governance, provision of justice, and facilitation of the common man, while the provincial government under the leadership of the Chief Minister is actively working on public welfare projects in accordance with this vision.
The provincial minister added that the purpose of the Public Day is to strengthen direct contact between the public and elected representatives and to resolve people’s issues at their doorstep.
He reaffirmed his commitment that all available resources would be utilized for the development of PK-26 Buner, provision of opportunities for youth, and improvement of basic facilities in the constituency.
