مشیر خزانہ خیبرپختونخوا مزمل اسلم نے ڈائریکٹر جنرل ہیلتھ سروسز پنجاب کے رپورٹ پر ردعمل دیتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ محکمہ صحت رپورٹ کے مطابق پنجاب میں مکمل 411 وینٹی لیٹرز ہیں جبکہ خیبرپختونخوا جیسے چھوٹے صوبے کے پاس تقریباً 700 وینٹی لیٹرز ہیں۔ ان خیالات کا اظہار مشیر خزانہ خیبرپختونخوا مزمل اسلم نے گزشتہ روز اپنے ایکس اکاؤنٹ پر ٹویٹ کرتے ہوئے کیا۔ مزمل اسلم نے کہا کہ خیبرپختونخوا کے 10 ایم ٹی آئیز میں 400 جبکہ نان ایم ٹی آئیز میں 295 وینٹی لیٹرز ہیں افسوس ہے کہ 5 ہزار ارب روپے سالانہ بجٹ والے صوبہ پنجاب کے پاس صرف 411 وینٹی لیٹرز ہیں جبکہ خیبرپختونخوا کی آبادی پنجاب سے تین گنا کم ہے جس کے پاس 700 وینٹی لیٹرز ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پنجاب حکومت کی جانب سے لاہور ہائیکورٹ پنجاب وینٹی لیٹرز رپورٹ نے محکمہ صحت پنجاب کے کارکردگی دعووں کا پول کھول دیا

خیبر پختونخوا میں ایسڈ، تیزابی و کاسٹک مادّوں اور جلانے کے جرائم کی روک تھام اور متاثرین کی بحالی کے لیے مجوزہ قانون ”خیبر پختونخوا ایسڈ، تیزابی و کاسٹک مادّوں اور جلانے کے جرائم (روک تھام و بحالی) ایکٹ 2026“ کا جامع مسودہ باضابطہ طور پر محکمہ سماجی بہبود کے حوالے کر دیا گیا۔یہ مسودہ چھ سالہ مسلسل اور سنجیدہ کوششوں کا نتیجہ ہے۔ اس جدوجہد کا آغاز ابتدائی طور پر ویمن پارلیمنٹری کاکس کے پلیٹ فارم سے ہوا تھا، جسے بعد ازاں خیبرپختونخوا کمیشن ان دے سٹیٹس آف ویمن کے پلیٹ فارم سے باقاعدہ اور منظم انداز میں آگے بڑھایا گیا۔مسودہ عائشہ نعیم کی قیادت میں تیار کیا گیا، جبکہ آسیہ خٹک نے قانونی اور تکنیکی معاونت فراہم کی۔ اس قانون میں نہ صرف سخت سزاؤں اور مؤثر عملدرآمد کا طریقہ کار شامل ہے بلکہ متاثرین کے علاج، نفسیاتی مدد، قانونی رہنمائی اور سماجی بحالی کے واضح اقدامات بھی تجویز کیے گئے ہیں۔ اس طرح یہ قانون متاثرین کے حقوق کے تحفظ پر خصوصی توجہ دیتا ہے۔کمیشن کی چیئرپرسن ڈاکٹر سمیرا شمس نے اس عمل میں خصوصی شرکت کی اور اپنی رہنمائی اور سرپرستی سے اس اہم پیش رفت کو آگے بڑھایا۔پروگرام ڈائریکٹر آمنہ درانی نے مختلف اداروں کے درمیان رابطوں، مشاورت اور مسودے کی تیاری میں اہم کردار ادا کیا۔ اسی طرح ایڈووکیٹ آمنہ پرویز، محکمہ سماجی بہبود کی جینڈر اسپیشلسٹ ندرت، اور پراسیکیوشن و لا ڈیپارٹمنٹ کے نمائندگان نے بھی اپنی پیشہ ورانہ آراء اور قانونی مہارت سے مسودے کو عملی تقاضوں سے ہم آہنگ بنانے میں معاونت کی۔حکام کے مطابق یہ اقدام صوبے میں ایسڈ اور جلانے کے جرائم کے خاتمے، مجرموں کے مؤثر احتساب اور متاثرین کی باعزت بحالی کی جانب ایک اہم سنگِ میل ثابت ہوگا۔ یہ قانون سازی نہ صرف قانونی اصلاحات بلکہ سماجی انصاف کے فروغ کی جانب بھی ایک مضبوط قدم ہے۔

Advisor to the KP Chief Minister on Finance Muzzammil Aslam, while addressing a press conference at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House Islamabad on Thursday, said that the poverty rate in the country is increasing. At present, poverty stands at 29 percent, and the difficulties of the common man are increasing day by day.
Muzzammil Aslam said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s dues from the federal government amount to Rs 4,750 billion. When payment of these dues is demanded from the federation, they respond by saying that you are aware of the country’s economic condition. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s position is that the dues should first be settled, and then a mechanism for payment can be worked out.
Muzzammil Aslam said that Shehbaz Sharif, while speaking at the Pakistan Governance Forum yesterday, admitted that the country had gone bankrupt in June 2023, whereas his government took office in April 2022. This means that within one year, the PDM government had driven the country into bankruptcy.
He said another important point the Prime Minister made in his speech was that inflation had reached 38 percent in June 2023, while in 2022, during the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government, inflation was only 12 percent.
Muzzammil Aslam said the Prime Minister also acknowledged in his speech that the tax rate in the country is very high and would be reduced in the next budget. However, he said he does not think the IMF would agree to a reduction, as the government has failed to meet its tax targets.
He said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was also taking credit for shutting down Utility Stores and the Public Works Department (PWD). Perhaps he is the first head of a country in the world to take credit for closing institutions.
Muzzammil Aslam said that the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan issued a clarification stating that the news about 127 companies leaving the country is incorrect; rather, this figure represents the total record from 1977 until now. In fact, from 2022 to 2025, only 19 companies have left the country, and this is being stated with pride. At the same time, it was clarified that during this period, 1,157 companies were registered in the country.
Muzzammil Aslam said that, in contrast, 47,000 companies of Pakistani investors are registered in Dubai, and 33,000 Pakistani investors’ companies are registered with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, which is a sign of hope. The day conditions improve in the country, this will be a source of hope for Pakistan.
He said that today the stock market has increased by 4,000 points, and investors had lost 10 billion dollars in capital, while even now the stock market results are not satisfactory.
Muzzammil Aslam said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced a Ramadan package of Rs 12,500 per family, which will be provided to one million families.

In view of the prevailing security environment, the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has imposed a temporary restriction on outdoor flying of drones and similar remotely piloted aerial devices across the province as a precautionary measure to ensure public safety.

According to an official public advisory issued from the office of the Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkkhwa, all outdoor flights of quadcopters, drones and related aerial equipment by private individuals, commercial operators and organizations have been restricted until further orders. The advisory states that district administrations, in coordination with law enforcement agencies, have been directed to ensure strict implementation of the measure. Any unauthorized drone activity will invite legal action under the relevant laws.

The government of Khyber Pakhtunkkhwa has also urged citizens to adopt precautionary measures in the interest of collective security.

Public have been advised to avoid unnecessary outdoor gatherings, particularly near sensitive or official installations, and to exercise caution in residential colonies and public spaces.

The advisory further cautions citizens against approaching or touching any unidentified flying object debris or suspicious aerial equipment found on the ground. In such cases, the public has been directed to immediately report the matter to the nearest police station or district control room.

In addition, all government departments, attached offices, public sector entities and field formations have been instructed to review and strengthen their security arrangements. The departments have been advised to restrict non-essential outdoor events within official premises and to sensitize staff regarding proper reporting protocols in case of any suspicious aerial activity. Authorities have also been directed to maintain close coordination with district administrations and police for timely information sharing.

The advisory outlines clear procedures for handling suspicious objects or drone wreckage. In the event of recovery of any such device, the area must be immediately cordoned off and access restricted. Only authorized Bomb Disposal Units or trained personnel will be permitted to handle or examine the material, and public access will remain prohibited until formal clearance is granted.

Officials emphasized that the advisory has been issued purely as a precautionary step aimed at ensuring vigilance and safeguarding public safety. Citizens have been urged to remain calm, cooperate fully with authorities and rely solely on verified information disseminated through official channels.

تفصیلات کیمطابق موبائل فوڈ ٹیسٹنگ لیبارٹریز کے ذریعے استعمال شدہ کوکنگ آئل کی موقع پر جانچ کی گئی۔ مجموعی طور پر 165 نمونوں کی جانچ پڑتال کی گئی جن میں سے 140 کو معیاری جبکہ 25 نمونوں کو مضر صحت اور غیر معیاری قرار دیا گیاجبکہ ناقص ثابت ہونے پر 1 ہزار 590 لیٹر کوکنگ آئل موقع پر ہی تلف کردیا گیااور خلاف ورزی کے مرتکب مالکان پر بھاری جرمانے عائد کرنے کے ساتھ متعدد فوڈ پوائنٹس کو وارننگ نوٹس بھی جاری کیے گئے۔
ترجمان نے بتایا کہ ضلعی سطح پر کارروائیوں کے دوران پشاور میں 260 لیٹر، سوات میں 229 لیٹر، مانسہرہ میں 222 لیٹر، نوشہرہ میں 141 لیٹر، ہری پور میں 117 لیٹر، لوئر دیر میں 114 لیٹر، صوابی میں 99 لیٹر، ملاکنڈ میں 95 لیٹر، خیبر میں 57 لیٹر، کرک میں 53 لیٹر، مردان میں 42 لیٹر، چارسدہ میں 34 لیٹر، کوہاٹ میں 33 لیٹر، ایبٹ آباد میں 32 لیٹر، ڈی آئی خان میں 30 لیٹر، لوئر چترال میں 24 لیٹر جبکہ بنوں میں 8 لیٹر ناقص کوکنگ آئل تلف کیا گیا۔ڈائریکٹر جنرل کاشف اقبال جیلانی نے کہا کہ حکومت خیبرپختونخوا کے وژن کے مطابق عوام کو معیاری اور محفوظ خوراک کی فراہمی اولین ترجیح ہے۔ انہوں نے واضح کیا کہ رمضان المبارک کے دوران ملاوٹ مافیا کے خلاف بلاامتیاز کارروائیاں جاری رہیں گی اور حفظانِ صحت کے اصولوں کی خلاف ورزی پر سخت قانونی کارروائی عمل میں لائی جائے گی۔

The 48th meeting of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cabinet was held in Peshawar under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Sohail Afridi, who presided over the meeting via video link from Islamabad. Cabinet members, the Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretaries, the Senior Member Board of Revenue, Administrative Secretaries and the Advocate General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa attended the meeting.

Briefing the media on the decisions taken in the meeting, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Information and Public Relations Shafi Jan stated that the Provincial Cabinet approved an allocation of Rs 4,065.12 million to meet critical human resource requirements in the health sector. The Cabinet approved the creation of 2,439 fixed pay positions for medical officers, dental surgeons and nurses to strengthen service delivery across public health facilities in the province, including the Merged Districts.

The Cabinet further authorized the Health Department to undertake recruitment against these positions through walk in interviews to be conducted by Divisional Level Departmental Selection Committees in accordance with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department Contract Appointment of Doctors Fixed Pay Rules 2022 as amended in 2025. The measure is intended to ensure uninterrupted and efficient provision of healthcare services across the province.

The Cabinet also approved the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Vagrancy Control and Rehabilitation Bill 2025 for placement before the Provincial Assembly.

The proposed legislation introduces a modernized and rights based framework for addressing vagrancy in the province, replacing the existing legal framework introduced in 2020. The Bill adopts a rehabilitation centred approach and expands the legal definitions of vagrancy to include organized and forced beggary while providing clear differentiation between vulnerable individuals and organized criminal networks.

The Bill provides for the protection of children involved in beggary, prescribes penalties against exploitative practices, and establishes institutional mechanisms for policy coordination and oversight including a Provincial Steering Committee.

It further provides for the reintegration of vulnerable individuals through rehabilitation and skills development programmes and establishes a dedicated non lapsable Rehabilitation Fund. Provisions relating to after care and livelihood support have also been incorporated to facilitate sustainable reintegration and prevent relapse.

Shafi Jan stated that the Cabinet approved the Hybrid Wheat Procurement and Strategic Reserves Policy 2026 as the framework for future wheat procurement in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The policy envisages a gradual transition from a state dominated procurement model towards a market based wheat economy, supported by indicative pricing mechanisms to promote price stability. It also provides for the maintenance of strategic reserves to safeguard food security and encourages enhanced private sector participation in wheat procurement, storage and trading. The policy is expected to significantly reduce the fiscal burden on the provincial exchequer over time.

The Cabinet also approved the proposal to take up wheat procurement related liabilities amounting to Rs 38.042 billion with the Federal Government for adjustment against PASSCO liabilities of Rs 41.97 billion, with the remaining balance of Rs 3.928 billion to be settled in favour of PASSCO.

The Cabinet further approved a grant in aid of Rs 196 million for the provision of laptops to minority students enrolled in BS, MBBS and Engineering, MPhil and MS, and PhD programmes under the Chief Minister’s Digital Inclusion Programme for Minority Students.

The Cabinet approved proposed amendments to the Protection Against Harassment of Women at the Workplace Act 2010.

The Cabinet also approved the establishment of breast screening centres at five divisional headquarters. The initiative forms part of the Government’s Good Governance Roadmap, which envisages provision of mammography facilities at all divisional headquarters, and is aimed at ensuring equitable access to modern diagnostic services for women across the province.

The Cabinet approved the transfer of 15 kanal of land to the Health Department for the establishment of a nursing college in Upper Chitral. It also approved cost enhancement for the project titled Establishment of Women and Children Hospital Sarai Naurang District Lakki Marwat.

In addition, the Cabinet approved the provision of land for the construction of a Ladies and Children Park on Kohat Road Peshawar.

Shafi Jan stated that the Cabinet approved funding arrangements for land acquisition for the Peshawar Dera Ismail Khan Motorway through intra and inter sectoral re appropriation of resources. The Cabinet also approved the transfer of 29 kanal and 9 marla of state land for the extension of the Judicial Complex in Hangu.

The Cabinet further approved extension of the Tirah Model Financial Assistance Package to an additional 6,505 affected families in District Khyber.

In addition, the Cabinet approved the nomination of a private sector representative to the Private Power and Infrastructure Board.
