خیبرپختونخوا کے وزیر برائے ریلیف، بحالی و آبادکاری عاقب اللہ خان نے ضلع صوابی کی یونین کونسل مانیری بالا کا دورہ کیا۔ دورے کے دوران صوبائی وزیر نے حالیہ بارشوں اور سیلابی صورتحال میں جاں بحق ہونے والی کمسن بچی کے گھر جا کر ان کے والدین اور اہل خانہ سے دلی تعزیت اور فاتحہ خوانی کی۔ انہوں نے مرحومہ کے درجات کی بلندی اور غمزدہ خاندان کے لیے صبرِ جمیل کی دعا کی۔ بعد ازاں صوبائی وزیر نے حالیہ تیز بارشوں کے باعث دریا میں آنے والی طغیانی سے متاثرہ مختلف مقامات کا تفصیلی معائنہ کیا۔ انہوں نے موقع پر موجود متعلقہ حکام کو سخت ہدایات جاری کیں کہ ضلع بھر میں دریا کے کناروں پر حفاظتی بندوں اور تدابیر کو فوری طور پر مزید مؤثر اور یقینی بنایا جائے۔ صوبائی وزیر ریلیف عاقب اللہ خان نے تمام متعلقہ اداروں اور محکمہ ریلیف کے اہلکاروں کو ہائی الرٹ رہنے کی ہدایت کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ کسی بھی ہنگامی صورتحال یا موسم کی خرابی کے الرٹ پر مقامی آبادی کو بروقت محفوظ مقامات پر منتقل کرنے کے لیے تمام ادارے ہمہ وقت تیار رہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ انسانی جانوں کا تحفظ ہماری اولین ترجیح ہے اور اس میں کسی قسم کی غفلت برداشت نہیں کی جائے گی۔ عاقب اللہ خان نے عوام سے بھی اپیل کی کہ وہ ممکنہ سیلابی خطرات کے پیشِ نظر انتظامیہ کے ساتھ مکمل تعاون کریں، ندی نالوں کے قریب غیر ضروری امد و رفت سے گریز کریں اور جاری کردہ حفاظتی تدابیر پر سختی سے عملدرآمد یقینی بنائیں۔

خیبرپختونخوا کے وزیر اطلاعات و تعلقات عامہ شفیع جان نے جمعرات کے روز رکن صوبائی اسمبلی و پارلیمانی سیکرٹری برائے محکمہ جنگلات شیر علی آفریدی کے ہمراہ لیڈی ریڈنگ ہسپتال پشاور کا دورہ کیا، جہاں انہوں نے گزشتہ روز ہنگو میں پولیس چیک پوسٹ پر دہشت گردوں کے حملے میں زخمی ہونے والے پولیس اہلکاروں کی عیادت کی، ان کی خیریت دریافت کی اور جلد صحت یابی کے لیے نیک تمناؤں کا اظہار کیا۔اس موقع پر وزیر اطلاعات نے زخمی اہلکاروں کے اہل خانہ سے بھی ملاقات کی اور انہیں صوبائی حکومت کی جانب سے ہر ممکن تعاون اور مکمل معاونت کی یقین دہانی کرائی۔ انہوں نے ہسپتال انتظامیہ سے زخمی اہلکاروں کو فراہم کی جانے والی طبی سہولیات اور علاج معالجے سے متعلق تفصیلی بریفنگ لی اور ہدایت کی کہ زخمی پولیس اہلکاروں کے علاج میں کسی قسم کی کوتاہی یا غفلت نہ برتی جائے اور انہیں بہترین طبی سہولیات کی فراہمی ہر صورت یقینی بنائی جائے۔بعد ازاں میڈیا کے نمائندوں سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے وزیر اطلاعات شفیع جان نے ہنگو میں دہشت گردوں کے بزدلانہ حملے کی شدید الفاظ میں مذمت کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ایسے بزدلانہ حملے حکومت اور خیبرپختونخوا پولیس اور عوام کے حوصلے ہرگز پست نہیں کر سکتے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ صوبے میں امن و امان کو خراب کرنے والے عناصر کے ساتھ بھرپور طریقے سے نمٹا جائے گا۔انہوں نے کہا کہ ہنگو دہشت گرد حملے میں 10 پولیس اہلکار شہید جبکہ 32 اہلکار زخمی ہوئے ہیں،وزیراعلی سہیل آفریدی
اور معاون خصوصی برائے داخلہ طارق سعید مروت بھی ہنگو گئے اور شہدا کے لواحقین سے ملے،شفیع جان نے کہا کہ خیبرپختونخوا پولیس کے افسران اور جوان دہشت گردی کے خلاف فرنٹ لائن پر بے مثال جرات اور بہادری کے ساتھ لڑ رہے ہیں۔ خیبرپختونخوا کے عوام اور پولیس گزشتہ کئی برسوں سے دہشت گردی کے خلاف لازوال قربانیاں دے رہے ہیں، جبکہ صوبہ دہشت گردی کے خلاف جنگ میں ملک کی پہلی دفاعی لائن کا کردار ادا کر رہا ہے،انہوں نے کہا کہ دہشت گردی کے خطرات سے مؤثر انداز میں نمٹنے کے لیے صوبائی حکومت پولیس کی استعداد کار میں مسلسل اضافہ کر رہی ہے۔ پولیس کو جدید اسلحہ، آلات اور ضروری وسائل فراہم کیے جا رہے ہیں، جبکہ پولیس کا بجٹ بڑھا کر 191 ارب روپے کر دیا گیا ہے تاکہ فورس کو مزید مضبوط اور مؤثر بنایا جا سکے۔وزیر اطلاعات نے کہا کہ دہشت گردی کے باعث خیبرپختونخوا کو شدید معاشی نقصان پہنچا ہے، یہاں کے کاروبار تباہ ہوئے،ضم اضلاع میں امن و امان کی صورت حال بہتر نہیں ہے، بلوجستان میں بھی امن وامان کی صورت حال انتہائی خراب ہے،انہوں نے کہا کہ بند کمروں میں کیے گئے فیصلے قابل قبول نہیں۔ وفاقی حکومت تمام صوبوں اور اسٹیک ہولڈرز کو اعتماد میں لے اور دہشت گردی کے خلاف نیشنل ایکشن پلان کا ازسرنو جامع جائزہ لے، نیا ایکشن پلان مرتب کیا جائے، خیبرپختونخوا اسمبلی میں ہم نے امن جرگہ منعقد کیا تھا، جس میں تمام جماعتوں اور اسٹیک ہولڈرز نے شرکت کی، امن جرگے کے متفقہ طور پر 13 نکاتی ڈرافٹ منظور کیا گیا تھا جس میں صوبائی ایکشن پلان بھی شامل تھا،

An important meeting chaired by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Energy & Power Nazir Ahmad Abbasi was held at the Energy & Power Department. The meeting was attended by the Secretary, Energy & Power Department, senior officials of the Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization (PEDO) and other concerned officers.

During the meeting, PEDO officials briefed the Minister on completed, ongoing and upcoming hydropower, solar and other renewable energy projects across the province. The meeting reviewed the progress of projects and future planning.

The Minister directed the relevant authorities to prepare a comprehensive plan for the phased solarization of all government schools, colleges and particularly mosques across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to reduce electricity costs and promote clean and affordable energy.

He further instructed officials to compile complete data on all government buildings, including their electricity requirements and monthly electricity bills, to facilitate a province-wide solarization strategy.

Nazir Ahmad Abbasi said that promoting renewable energy is the need of the hour and that the solarization of public institutions would help reduce electricity expenditures, ensure efficient use of public resources and strengthen environmental sustainability.

The Minister further stated that, in line with the vision of PTI Founder Chairman Imran Khan and under the leadership of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Suhail Afridi, the provincial government is committed to reforms in the energy sector, promotion of renewable energy and timely completion of all energy projects for the benefit of the people.

مشیرِ وزیراعلیٰ خیبرپختونخوا برائے سماجی بہبود، خصوصی تعلیم و ویمن ایمپاورمنٹ ملک لیاقت علی خان نے جمعرات کے روزسپیشل وومن ایجوکیشن کمپلیکش حیات آباد پشاور میںیتیم اور خصوصی بچوں کی سفری سہولت کے لئے خصوصی تعلیمی اداروںمیں گاڑیوں تقسیم کیں۔اس حوالے سے منعقدہ تقریب میں سیکرٹری محکمہ سماجی بہبود، خصوصی تعلیم و ویمن ایمپاورمنٹ، ڈائریکٹر محکمہ سماجی بہبود اور دیگر متعلقہ افسران بھی موجود تھے۔ مشیرِ وزیراعلیٰ خیبرپختونخوا برائے سماجی بہبود، خصوصی تعلیم و ویمن ایمپاورمنٹ ملک لیاقت علی خان نے آج مختلف فلاحی اداروں اور خصوصی تعلیم سے متعلق سرگرمیوں میں شرکت کرتے ہوئے خصوصی بچوں، خواتین، بزرگ شہریوں اور دیگر مستحق طبقات کی فلاح و بہبود کے لیے حکومت کے عزم کا اعادہ کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ خصوصی تعلیمی اداروں کو گاڑیوں کی فرہمی کا مقصد خصوصی بچوں کی محفوظ، بروقت اور باوقار آمدورفت کو یقینی بنانا ہے۔اس موقع پرتقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے ملک لیاقت علی خان نے کہا کہ حکومتِ خیبرپختونخوا خصوصی افراد کی تعلیم، بحالی اور فلاح و بہبود کے لیے عملی اقدامات کر رہی ہے اور خصوصی تعلیمی اداروں کو سفری سہولیات کی فراہمی اسی سلسلے کی ایک اہم کڑی ہے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ محکمہ خصوصی تعلیم کے لیے 11 نئی گاڑیاں فراہم کی گئی ہیں، جن میں سے 5 گاڑیاں زمونگ کور پشاور کے لیے مختص کی گئی ہیں جبکہ باقی گاڑیاں مختلف اضلاع میں ضرورت کے مطابق فراہم کی جائیں گی۔انہوں نےکہاکہ جلد ہی 23 نئی منی بسیں بھی محکمہ کو موصول ہوں گی، جنہیں یتیم اور خصوصی بچوں کی سہولت کے پیشِ نظر ضرورت مند اداروں میں شفاف انداز سےتقسیم کیا جائے گا تاکہ بچوں کو بہتر سفری سہولیات میسر آ سکیں۔اس موقع پر انہوں نے گاڑیوں کی چابیاں بھی تقسیم کیں۔قبل ازیںل مشیرِ وزیراعلیٰ نے یونیسف کے زیر اہمتام خصوصی بچوں کے لئے منعقدہ تقریب میں بھیشرکت کی، جہاں انہوں نے خصوصی بچوں کی صلاحیتوں کو اجاگر کرنے کے لیے منعقدہ نمائش کا تفصیلی معائنہ کیا۔ انہوں نے بچوں کے فن پاروں، تخلیقی صلاحیتوں اور مختلف ہنر کو سراہتے ہوئے نمایاں کارکردگی کا مظاہرہ کرنے والے خصوصی بچوں میں اسناد تقسیم کیں۔انہوں نے خصوصی بچوں کے لیےفی کس 30 ہزار روپے کے انعام کا بھیاعلان کیا اور کہا کہ خصوصی بچے، بالخصوص ہماری بیٹیاں، معاشرے کااہم حصہ ہیں حکومت انہیں معیاری تعلیم، ہنر مندی اور روشن مستقبل کے مساوی مواقع فراہم کرنے کے لیے پرعزم ہے۔ انہوں نے اعلان کیا کہ آئندہ چھ ماہ کے دوران خصوصی بچوں کے لیے جدید اور مارکیٹ کی ضروریات سے ہم آہنگ نئے ہنرز پر مبنیپروگرامز متعارف کرائے جائیں گے، جبکہ خصوصی بچوں کی رجسٹریشن کو جامع اور مؤثر بنانے کے لیے خصوصی ٹیمیں گھر جا کر رجسٹریشن کا عمل مکمل کریں گی تاکہ کوئی بھی مستحق بچہ حکومتی سہولیات سے محروم نہ رہے۔بعد ازاں مشیرِ وزیراعلیٰ نے سیکرٹری محکمہ سماجی بہبود اور ڈائریکٹر محکمہ سماجی بہبود کے ہمراہ اولڈ سٹیزن ہوم حیات آباد، پشاور کا دورہ کیا، جہاں انہوں نے بزرگ رہائشیوں سے ملاقات کی، ان کی خیریت دریافت کی اور ادارے میں فراہم کی جانے والی سہولیات کا تفصیلی جائزہ لیا۔ انہوں نے پانی کی فراہمی کے نظام کا معائنہ کرتے ہوئے فوری ہدایات جاری کیں کہ واٹر فلٹر اور واٹر کولرز کو ہر وقت فعال اور صاف رکھا جائے تاکہ بزرگ شہریوں کو صاف اور ٹھنڈا پینے کا پانی میسر ہو۔انہوں نے بزرگ شہریوں سے ان کےمسائل، صحت، خوراک اور دیگر ضروریات کے بارے میں دریافت کیا اور متعلقہ حکام کو ہدایت کی کہ بزرگوں کی دیکھ بھال، علاج، خوراک اور دیگر بنیادی سہولیات کی فراہمی میں کسی قسم کی غفلت برداشت نہیں کی جائے گی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اولڈ سٹیزن ہوم میں مقیم بزرگ ہمارے لیے قابلِ احترام ہیں اور ان کی خدمت محکمہ سماجی بہبود کی اولین ذمہ داری ہے۔ مشیرِ وزیراعلیٰ نے زمونگ کور گرلز
ہاسٹل کا بھی اچانک دورہ کیا۔ انہوں نے ہاسٹل میں صفائی ستھرائی، کچن، کھانے پینے کی اشیاء، خوراک کی تیاری کے معیار اور استعمال ہونے والے برتنوں کا تفصیلی معائنہ کیا اور متعلقہ حکام کو صفائی کے انتظامات مزید بہتر بنانے اور حفظانِ صحت کے اصولوں پر سختی سے عمل درآمد کی ہدایت کی۔ملک لیاقت علی خان نے کہا کہ تمام فلاحی اداروں میں بچوں کو اعلیٰ معیار کی خوراک، صاف ستھرا ماحول اور بہترین سہولیات فراہم کی جائیں۔ انہوں نے کہا، “یہ بچے ہماری ذمہ داری اور ہماری امانت ہیں، ہم ہی ان کے محافظ ہیں۔ ان کی بہترین دیکھ بھال، معیاری خوراک اور محفوظ ماحول کی فراہمی ہر صورت یقینی بنائی جائے۔”ان کا کہنا تھا کہ بچوں کی صحت، صفائی، خوراک اور رہائشی سہولیات کے معیار پر کسی قسم کا سمجھوتہ نہیں کیا جائے گا اور تمام فلاحی اداروں میں مؤثر نگرانی کے نظام کو مزید مضبوط بنایا جائے تاکہ خصوصی بچوں، یتیم بچیوں، بزرگ شہریوں اور دیگر مستحق افراد کو بہترین سہولیات کی فراہمی ہر صورت یقینی بنائی جا سکے۔

A meeting of the Standing Committee on Sports and Youth Affairs of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly was held on Thursday at the Provincial Assembly Secretariat under the chairmanship of the Committee Chairman and Member of the Provincial Assembly, Muhammad Zahir Shah Khan.
The meeting was attended by Standing Committee members and Members of the Provincial Assembly Farzana Shireen and Aiman Jalil Jan, along with the Secretary for Sports and Youth Affairs, the Director General Sports, Directors of Sports, officials from the Law Department, the Advocate General’s Office, and the Provincial Assembly Secretariat.
The Secretary for Sports and Youth Affairs gave a detailed briefing to the Committee on the department’s performance and ongoing projects. He informed the Committee that the department is undertaking various initiatives to promote sports across the province, enhance youth welfare, and provide modern sports facilities. He stated that, in addition to the construction and development of playgrounds, sports complexes, youth centers, and other infrastructure, the department is implementing several projects aimed at identifying and nurturing young talent, engaging youth in positive activities, and empowering them.
The briefing highlighted that during the 2025–26 fiscal year, the department placed special emphasis on development projects, sports infrastructure, promotion of sports in the merged districts, youth complexes, and the Ehsaas Naujawan Program, focusing on employment opportunities, entrepreneurship, and the provision of modern facilities. It also successfully organized district and inter-district sports competitions, marathons, traditional games, activities in educational institutions, and various national-level sporting events.
The Secretary for Sports reaffirmed the department’s commitment to continuing its efforts to promote sports, foster positive character development among youth, develop talent, ensure equal opportunities for women and persons with disabilities, and provide modern sports facilities. He said these initiatives would enable the youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to play an effective role in national development and contribute to building a brighter future for Pakistan.
During the meeting, Standing Committee member Farzana Shireen sought clarification regarding the lack of furniture at the Directorate of Sports office in Bannu. The Secretary for Sports responded that the required furniture and other essential equipment would be provided once the building is completed.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Standing Committee Chairman Muhammad Zahir Shah Khan directed the Secretary for Sports and the relevant officials to present a comprehensive report at the next meeting on the Provincial Sports Policy, sports facilities, sports complexes, and the ongoing as well as completed development schemes in Mardan, Mingora, and Abbottabad.

Special Assistant Tariq Saeed Marwat Visits Hangu Along with Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah and IGP Zulfiqar Hameed, Inquires After Injured Police Personnel at DHQ Hospital, Reaffirms Resolve to Take the Fight Against Terrorism to Its Logical Conclusion

Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs, Tariq Saeed Marwat, accompanied by Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shahab Ali Shah and Inspector General of Police Zulfiqar Hameed, visited Hangu and called on the police personnel injured in the cowardly terrorist attack carried out by Fitna Al-Khawarij at the Khazina Banda Check Post. During their visit to DHQ Hospital Hangu, they inquired after the injured officers, prayed for their speedy recovery, and directed the concerned authorities to ensure the provision of the best possible medical treatment and healthcare facilities.

Speaking on the occasion, Tariq Saeed Marwat said that the brave martyrs who laid down their lives for the defence of the homeland, the establishment of peace, and the protection of the lives and property of the people are the pride of the entire nation. He said their unmatched sacrifices would always be remembered and their blood would never go in vain.

The Special Assistant expressed heartfelt condolences and solidarity with the bereaved families of the martyrs and said that, in accordance with the directives of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muhammad Sohail Khan Afridi, the provincial government would extend every possible financial, administrative and welfare support to the families of the martyrs and would never leave them alone. He also prayed for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks, the speedy recovery of the injured personnel, patience for the bereaved families, and lasting peace and stability across the province.

Tariq Saeed Marwat paid tribute to the police personnel deployed at the Khazina Banda Check Post for displaying exceptional courage and bravery in confronting the terrorists. He said that by sacrificing their lives in the line of duty, these brave sons of the soil had written a remarkable chapter in the nation’s history and would always be remembered with honour and respect.

The Special Assistant reaffirmed that the provincial government stands shoulder to shoulder with the police, security forces and all law enforcement agencies. He said every available resource would be utilised to take the fight against terrorism to its logical conclusion, eliminate the enemies of peace, and ensure lasting peace across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa so that citizens can live in a safe and secure environment.

Special Assistant to Chief Minister Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa on Tourism, Culture, Archaeology and Museums Malik Adeel Iqbal has said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government is not only promoting tourism but is also taking practical steps to economically empower local communities. Maizban Tourism Programme is a key initiative aimed at achieving this vision.
He expressed these views while addressing cheque distribution ceremony in Peshawar where interest-free loans were provided to eligible beneficiaries under Maizban Tourism Programme. The event was attended by Director General Culture and Tourism Authority Shahid Khan, representatives of Bank of Khyber, relevant officials and programme beneficiaries.
On the occasion, Malik Adeel Iqbal distributed interest-free loan cheques among eligible men and women. He said that Maizban Tourism Programme represents a significant step towards empowering local communities particularly youth and women by enabling them to become self-reliant and creating dignified employment opportunities.
He said that programme reflects the tourism vision of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and directives of Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with objective of ensuring that the benefits of tourism directly reach local communities.
Malik Adeel Iqbal further said that provincial government is placing special emphasis on promotingbcommunity-based tourism so that tourism activities can increase local incomes, create new business opportunities and contribute to sustainable economic growth. He added that government’s foremost priority is to generate employment opportunities for local people and enable them to earn a respectable livelihood within their own communities.
Special Assistant further stated that, under the Maizban Tourism Programme, interest-free loan cheques worth more than Rs100 million have so far been distributed among 109 eligible beneficiaries. The programme is benefiting deserving men and women in Swat, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Chitral and Dir, where local residents will be able to convert their homes into homestays and provide quality accommodation facilitie to tourists.
He further added that government objective is not only to promote tourism but also to transform the sector into an effective driver of local economic development, employment generation, and poverty reduction. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to expanding the scope of such initiatives in the future so that a greater number of people can benefit from them.
