A meeting regarding the Ambela to Rustam (Buner) Road Project was held in Peshawar under the chairmanship of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Irrigation, Riaz Khan. The meeting was attended by Managing Director of Pakhtunkhwa Highways Authority (PKHA), Sohail Idrees, along with other relevant officials. During the meeting, a detailed discussion was held on the Ambela to Rustam Road project. MD PKHA Sohail Idrees briefed the provincial minister in detail, stating that the road will be approximately 19 kilometers long, with an estimated cost of four billion rupees. He informed the meeting that the feasibility report of the project has already been completed and approved. Addressing the meeting, Provincial Minister Riaz Khan said that he will soon meet Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muhammad Sohail Afridi, to ensure that this important public project will included in the upcoming Annual Development Programme (ADP). Riaz Khan emphasized that the construction of the Ambela to Rustam Road will not only provide great convenience to the local population in terms of transportation but will also significantly boost trade and economic activities in the region. He added that the provincial government is committed to practical measures for public welfare and is determined to provide maximum relief to the people through development projects. The minister further stated that providing all legitimate and essential facilities to the people of Buner is among the top priorities of the provincial government. All available resources are being utilized to resolve public issues and ensure the provision of basic amenities, so that the people of Buner can experience real and tangible relief. Riaz Khan reiterated that the core objective of the government’s policy is to improve the quality of life of the people by initiating development projects that have a direct and positive impact on the lives of common citizens. He added that the people of Buner have always shown strong confidence in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and the provincial government is taking practical steps to live up to that trust.
