Provincial Minister for Information and Public Relations, Shafi Jan, has strongly condemned the bomb blast on a vehicle in Bannu and expressed deep sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of seven people in the incident.
In a statement issued here, the Provincial Information Minister said that targeting innocent civilians by terrorists is an extremely cowardly and tragic act. He stated that such incidents cannot weaken the resolve of the nation and that terrorist elements will not succeed in their malicious designs.
Shafi Jan said that Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has taken notice of the incident and has sought a report from the police authorities.
He further stated that the provincial government is taking effective, coordinated, and comprehensive measures to eliminate the menace of terrorism, and all available resources are being utilized to ensure lasting peace.
The Provincial Information Minister said that the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa stands in complete solidarity with the affected families during this difficult time.
He prayed for the forgiveness and elevated ranks of those martyred in the blast and for patience and strength for the bereaved families, while also expressing best wishes for the speedy and full recovery of the three injured persons.
