Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information and Public Relations, Shafi Jan, has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of Shan Makhdoom, an employee of the Information Department, and Mudassir Shah Afridi, a senior journalist from District Khyber.
In a condolence statement issued here, the Provincial Minister extended his heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the bereaved family of the late Shan Makhdoom. He said that the deceased was a talented, dedicated, and exceptionally hardworking employee whose professional services to the Information Department would always be remembered with great respect and appreciation.
The Provincial Minister also expressed deep sorrow over the sudden demise of senior journalist Mudassir Shah Afridi. He said that the late journalist rendered distinguished professional services to several national and international media organizations, adding that his valuable contributions to the field of journalism would be remembered for years to come.
Shafi Jan said that, in this hour of grief, he stands in solidarity with both bereaved families. He prayed that Almighty Allah may grant the departed souls the highest ranks in Jannah, bless them with His infinite mercy and forgiveness, and give their families the strength and patience to bear this irreparable loss.
