The Supreme Sacrifices of Our Martyrs Are a National Asset; Terrorism Will Be Eradicated at All Costs, Says Tariq Saeed Marwat

Special Assistant Tariq Saeed Marwat Visits Hangu Along with Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah and IGP Zulfiqar Hameed, Inquires After Injured Police Personnel at DHQ Hospital, Reaffirms Resolve to Take the Fight Against Terrorism to Its Logical Conclusion

Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs, Tariq Saeed Marwat, accompanied by Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shahab Ali Shah and Inspector General of Police Zulfiqar Hameed, visited Hangu and called on the police personnel injured in the cowardly terrorist attack carried out by Fitna Al-Khawarij at the Khazina Banda Check Post. During their visit to DHQ Hospital Hangu, they inquired after the injured officers, prayed for their speedy recovery, and directed the concerned authorities to ensure the provision of the best possible medical treatment and healthcare facilities.

Speaking on the occasion, Tariq Saeed Marwat said that the brave martyrs who laid down their lives for the defence of the homeland, the establishment of peace, and the protection of the lives and property of the people are the pride of the entire nation. He said their unmatched sacrifices would always be remembered and their blood would never go in vain.

The Special Assistant expressed heartfelt condolences and solidarity with the bereaved families of the martyrs and said that, in accordance with the directives of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muhammad Sohail Khan Afridi, the provincial government would extend every possible financial, administrative and welfare support to the families of the martyrs and would never leave them alone. He also prayed for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks, the speedy recovery of the injured personnel, patience for the bereaved families, and lasting peace and stability across the province.

Tariq Saeed Marwat paid tribute to the police personnel deployed at the Khazina Banda Check Post for displaying exceptional courage and bravery in confronting the terrorists. He said that by sacrificing their lives in the line of duty, these brave sons of the soil had written a remarkable chapter in the nation’s history and would always be remembered with honour and respect.

The Special Assistant reaffirmed that the provincial government stands shoulder to shoulder with the police, security forces and all law enforcement agencies. He said every available resource would be utilised to take the fight against terrorism to its logical conclusion, eliminate the enemies of peace, and ensure lasting peace across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa so that citizens can live in a safe and secure environment.
