A delegation of the Korea Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC) visited the Government Technical Vocational Centre (GTVC) Dargai and the Government Advanced Technical Training Centre (GATTC) Malakand.
The purpose of the visit was to conduct a practical and detailed assessment of the training facilities, workshops, modern equipment, machinery, and particularly the trained individuals and trainees in the field of welding at both institutions.
Under the programme, selected skilled individuals will be provided with modern, internationally standard training in relevant technical fields, including welding, along with Korean language education, so that they can benefit from better employment opportunities in South Korea in the future.
The delegation thoroughly inspected the various workshops, training facilities, machinery, equipment, and other technical infrastructure at both institutions and reviewed the training standards, available facilities, and measures being taken to equip youth with modern technical skills.
After the necessary stages and formal procedures are completed, the programme will be launched at GTVC Dargai and GATTC Malakand.
This initiative is an important and positive step towards providing the youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with internationally standard technical and professional skills, Korean language education, and dignified employment opportunities.
