The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Irrigation Riaz Khan formally inaugurated the Daggar Tehsil Chowk beautification and renovation project in District Buner.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Deputy Commissioner Buner, Assistant Commissioner Buner, Additional Deputy Commissioner Buner, TMO Daggar, officials of the relevant departments, local elders, and a large number of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers.
Speaking on the occasion, the KP irrigation minister said that providing citizens with a clean, beautiful, and modern urban environment is among the top priorities of the current provincial government. He said that the beautification of Daggar Tehsil Chowk will not only enhance the area’s beautification but will also provide residents with a more pleasant and improved civic environment.
He further said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi, the current KP government is taking practical measures to ensure the timely and quality completion of development projects across all districts of the province.
He added that improving urban infrastructure, enhancing the beauty of public spaces, and expanding civic amenities are key components of the government’s good governance agenda.
He issued directives to the concerned authorities to ensure the proper maintenance, cleanliness, and long-term upkeep of the project so that the public continues to benefit from its facilities for years to come.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Riaz Khan thanked the local community and party workers for their support and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to accelerating the pace of public service and regional development.
He also announced that additional public welfare and development projects would soon be launched in district Buner.
