KP Law Minister Opens Rs13m Road Project, Pledges More Development

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Aftab Alam has inaugurated the Wuch Talab-Shin Dhand Jabbar Road project in the presence of former Gumbat Chairman Sajid Iqbal and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers costing around Rs13 Million in Kohat district, saying public service remained his priority and development work was the responsibility of elected representatives.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, the Minister said the government would continue development initiatives aimed at improving public welfare and providing basic facilities to local communities. He said completion of the road would improve travelling conditions for residents, ease daily commuting and strengthen connectivity between different settlements in the area.
“Development work is not a favour to the people but a responsibility and duty of their elected representatives,” Alam said. He added improving roads and existing infrastructure would help reduce difficulties faced by the residents and facilitate access to essential services.
Alam said timely completion of development schemes and provision of basic public facilities remained among the government’s priorities, adding that welfare-oriented projects would continue in the area.
Local elders and PTI workers welcomed the opening of the road, describing it as an important step towards improving infrastructure and public facilities and thanked the provincial government and relevant authorities.
