خیبر پختونخوا اسمبلی کی قائمہ کمیٹی برائے محکمہ ہیومن ریسورس مینجمنٹ کا اجلاس جمعرات کے روز صوبائی اسمبلی سیکرٹریٹ پشاور میں منعقد ہوا۔ اجلاس کی صدارت کمیٹی کے چیئرمین اور رکن صوبائی اسمبلی عبد المنعم نے کی۔ اجلاس میں کمیٹی کے اراکین و ممبران صوبائی اسمبلی عارف احمد زئی، فتح الملک، مہر سلطانہ، ایمن جلیل جان، شازیہ تحماس خان، اشہبر جان جدون، جمیلہ پراچہ، خدیجہ بی بی اور عارفہ بی بی نے شرکت کی۔ اس کے علاوہ سیکرٹری ہیومن ریسورس مینجمنٹ، ایڈیشنل سیکرٹری ہیومن ریسورس مینجمنٹ معہ متعلقہ عملہ، محکمہ قانون، خیبرپختونخوا پبلک سروس کمیشن کے نمائندے اور خیبر پختونخوا اسمبلی کے افسران بھی اجلاس میں موجود تھے۔ اجلاس میں خیبرپختونخوا پبلک سروس کمیشن کے ممبران کی تعیناتی اور کمیشن کے موجود قانون میں ترمیم کے حوالے سے تفصیلی گفتگو کی گئی اور محکمے کے جانب سے مذکورہ موضوع پر جامع پریزنٹیشن پیش کی گئی۔جس میں انہوں نے بتایا کہ خیبرپختونخوا پبلک سروس کمیشن صوبے میں پرونشل منیجمنٹ سروسز (پی ایم ایس) کے ساتھ ساتھ دیگر مقابلے کے امتحانات کا انعقاد کرواتا ہے اور صوبے کے مختلف محکموں کیلئے قابل، ذہین اور تجرباکار امیدواروں کی میرٹ کی بنیاد پر سلیکشن کرواتی ہے۔ چیئرمین قائمہ کمیٹی برائے محکمہ ہیومن ریسورس مینجمنٹ عبد المنعم نے کہا کہ خیبرپختونخوا پبلک سروس کمیشن کو مقابلے کے امتحانات میں مزید فعال اور خودمختار بنانے کیلئے کمیشن کے لاء، رولز اور ریگولیشنز میں قانونی تقاضوں کے مطابق ردوبدل کیا جارہا ہے جس سے صوبے میں مقابلے کے امتحانات میں میرٹ اور شفافیت کو مزید پروان چڑھایا جائے گا اور حقدار کو اس کا حق ملے گا اور قابل اور ذہین لوگ محکموں میں آئینگے۔ چیئرمین قائمہ کمیٹی نے محکمہ کو ہدایت کی کہ خیبرپختونخوا پبلک سروس کمیشن کے ممبران کی تعیناتی کیلئے کمیشن کے ایکٹ میں درکار ترامیم کو قانونی تقاضوں کے مطابق جلد از جلد کروائی جائے تاکہ ممبران کی تعیناتی ہوسکے اور کمیشن میں مقابلے کے امتحانات اپنے مقررہ وقت میں لیے جاسکے تاکہ امیدواروں کا ٹائم ضائع نہ ہو۔ ممبر صوبائی اسمبلی فتح الملک کے کمیٹی کو جمع کئے گئے سوال پر خیبرپختونخوا پبلک سروس کمیشن کے آفسر نے وضاحت دی کہ محکمہ صحت میں منیجمنٹ کیڈر ڈاکٹروں کے بھرتی کے حوالے سے جو پیٹرن محکمہ صحت کی طرف سے فراہم کروایا گیا ہے اس میں زیادہ تر امیدواران امتحان پاس نہیں کرواتے جس کی وجہ سے مذکورہ آسامیاں مکمل طور پر نہیں بھری جاسکتیں۔ اس پر چیئرمین قائمہ کمیٹی نے نوٹس لیتے ہوئے اسمبلی کے سپیشل سیکرٹری کو ہدایت دی کہ اگلے اجلاس میں محکمہ کے متعلقہ حکام کو مدعو کیا جائے اور مذکورہ سسامیوں کو میرٹ کے بنیاد پر پر کرنے کیلئے مختلف تجاویز بھی کمیٹی کو پیش کی جائیں تاکہ ممبران کے ساتھ مشترکہ طور پر اس مسلے کا حل نکالا جاسکے اور منیجمنٹ کیڈر ڈاکٹروں کی تعیناتی کے عمل کو میرٹ پر مکمل کروایا جاسکے۔

The Oath-taking ceremony of the All Kohat Bike Union Association was held in Kohat, where Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister’s Special Assistant for Information and Public Relations Shafi Jan and Member National Assembly Shahryar Khan Afridi attended as chief guests and underscored the importance of unity, discipline and economic opportunity through local investment.
Newly elected office-bearers of the union, including President Sheikh Rashid, Senior Vice President Wisal Khan, Fahad Paracha and Hayat Bukhari took oath during the event attended by the representatives from business circles, civil society and youth groups.
In his address, Shafi Jan said trade unions and associations play a vital role in resolving collective issues and promoting social harmony. He urged the bike union to actively support traffic discipline, civic awareness and public welfare initiatives, while assuring government cooperation in addressing community concerns.
Shahryar Afridi congratulated the newly elected body and reaffirmed support for youth-led organizations working for constructive social engagement.
Kohat Chamber of Commerce President Rasheed Paracha also backed the initiative, calling for small-scale motorcycle parts manufacturing units and expansion of bike-related service businesses to boost local employment and strengthen the regional economy.
The ceremony concluded with pledges of cooperation among the stakeholders and a commitment to unity and discipline as key drivers of progress.

محکمہ ایکسائز وٹیکسیش اور نارکوٹکس کنٹرول خیبر پختونخوا کے بیورو آف ایکسائزانٹیلیجنس اینڈ انویسٹیگیشن نے ایک کامیاب کارروائی کے دوران بین الاقوامی و بین الصوبائی منشیات سمگلنگ نیٹ ورک سے وابستہ ایک ملزم کو گرفتار کرکے اس کے قبضے سے 2000 گرام ہیروئن برآمد کرلی۔ ملزم منشیات کو پارسل کے ذریعے مختلف شہروں اور بعد ازاں بیرونِ ملک بھجوانے کی کوشش کر رہا تھا۔اس سلسلے میں محکمہ ایکسائز سے موصولہ تفصیلات کے مطابق ایکسائز انٹیلیجنس ٹیم کو خفیہ اطلاع موصول ہوئی تھی کہ منشیات گروہ کا کارندہ شاہ زیب ولد انور شاہ پشاور میں پوسٹ آفس کے ذریعے منشیات سپلائی کرنے والا ہے۔ اطلاع کو مصدقہ جانتے ہوئے ٹیم نے پوسٹ آفس کے سامنے کارروائی کرتے ہوئے ملزم کو رنگے ہاتھوں گرفتار کرلیا۔کارروائی کے دوران ملزم کے قبضے سے 2000 گرام ہیروئن برآمد ہوئی جبکہ مزید تفتیش اور قانونی کارروائی کیلئے تھانہ ایکسائز پشاور ریجن میں مقدمہ درج کرلیا گیا ہے۔محکمہ ایکسائز، ٹیکسیشن و نارکوٹکس کنٹرول کی جانب سے صوبائی حکومت کی منشیات کے خلاف زیرو ٹالرنس پالیسی اور صوبائی وزیر ایکسائز سید فخرجہان کے ہدایات کے تحت صوبہ بھر میں کارروائیاں مسلسل جاری ہیں اور نوجوان نسل کو منشیات کے ناسور سے بچانے کیلئے منشیات فروشوں کے خلاف گھیرا تنگ کیا جارہا ہے۔

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Public Health Engineering Fazal Shakoor Khan met with a representative delegation of the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) Workers Welfare Association at his office in Peshawar. The delegation was led by the association’s Patron-in-Chief, Pir Gul Ali Shah Marwat, along with other office bearers of the association.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding the issues being faced by employees of the PHE department and other matters related to the department.

Speaking on the occasion Mr Fazal Shakoor Khan said that the provision of clean drinking water to the public is among the top priorities of the KP government, and all available resources are being utilized to make water supply schemes functional and effective. He clarified that preference is given to the concerned landowners in the appointment of tube-well operators, and no unrelated individual will be given priority over them.

The Provincial Minister further said that transparency, merit, and the rule of law would be ensured at all levels within the department, adding that no irregularity or negligence would be tolerated under any circumstances.

He assured the delegation that effective measures would be taken to address the legitimate concerns of employees and to improve water supply schemes, while all issues would be resolved on a priority basis in accordance with the government’s policy.

Provincial Minister for Health, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Khaleeq ur Rehman, chaired an important “Coordination Meeting with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Sector Development Partners” in Islamabad. The meeting was attended by Secretary Health Shahid Ullah Khan, Director General Health Dr. Shaheen Afridi, Chief HSRU Dr. Ejaz, and representatives of all health sector development partners working in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The meeting commenced with a welcome note by the Secretary Health, who also presented the concept note and outlined the objectives of the session. He emphasized that the purpose of the meeting was to strengthen coordination between the Health Department and development partners, review ongoing initiatives, and develop a unified and strategic roadmap for the future.

During the session, all development partners delivered detailed presentations on their ongoing engagements, interventions, and healthcare support across various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The participants were briefed on contributions in key areas including primary healthcare, maternal and child health, nutrition, communicable and non-communicable disease control, emergency response, and overall health system strengthening.
Special emphasis was also given to digital health initiatives, data management systems, capacity building of human resources, and improving service delivery in remote and underserved areas. Furthermore, partners highlighted challenges such as limited resources, geographical barriers, and access issues in certain regions.

Addressing the meeting, Provincial Minister for Health Khaleeq ur Rehman appreciated the continued support of development partners and acknowledged their vital role in improving healthcare services in the province. He directed all partners to share complete, authentic, and updated data with the Chief HSRU on a regular basis to ensure the development of a centralized and integrated data system.

He stated:
“We need to promote data-driven decision-making in the health sector. By streamlining information and bringing all activities onto a single platform, we can ensure transparency, avoid duplication of efforts, and achieve better outcomes through efficient utilization of resources.”

The Minister further directed that all partner activities must be aligned with the Health Department’s priorities and district-specific needs to eliminate overlapping interventions. He stressed the importance of strengthening monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to assess the impact and effectiveness of ongoing projects.

Khaleeq ur Rehman reiterated the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s commitment to reforms, transparency, and modernization of the healthcare system. He emphasized prioritizing the provision of essential health services in remote and marginalized areas of the province.

It was also agreed during the meeting that such coordination sessions would be held regularly to review progress, enhance collaboration, and address emerging challenges in a timely manner.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Provincial Minister reaffirmed that the Health Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will continue to work closely with all development partners to ensure a strong, efficient, and people-centered healthcare system in the province.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department has intensified its crackdown against narcotics trafficking across the province, conducting successful operations in Dera Ismail Khan, Peshawar and Abbottabad. During the operations, large quantities of narcotics were recovered and several suspects were arrested, while attempts to smuggle ice and hashish were effectively foiled.Cases have been registered and further investigations are underway.

According to details received from the Excise Department, the Excise Bureau of Intelligence and Investigation D.I. Khan Squad, acting on a tip-off, conducted an operation on Daraband Road and foiled an attempt to smuggle ice through female accomplices. During a search carried out by a lady constable, a total of 6,500 grams of ice was recovered from two women. The main accused, Aqib Khan son of Khanzada, a resident of Mardan, was arrested along with his female relatives allegedly involved in the smuggling attempt. Initial investigations revealed that the recovered narcotics were being smuggled to Islamabad and Lahore. A case has been registered at Excise Police Station D.I. Khan and further investigation is in progress.

In another operation, Excise Police Abbottabad recovered 2,438 grams of hashish near the Havelian Interchange and arrested two accused. A case has been registered at Excise Police Station Abbottabad and legal proceedings are underway.

Meanwhile, the Excise Bureau of Intelligence and Investigation Peshawar conducted an operation on the Northern Bypass on the basis of secret information and recovered 48,000 grams of hashish from vehicle number BJF-749. A case has been registered at Excise Police Station Peshawar and further investigation has been initiated.

On the directives of Minister for Excise Syed Fakhar Jehan, operations against narcotics dealers and smugglers have been accelerated under the provincial government’s zero-tolerance policy against drugs. The Excise Department reiterated its commitment to continue indiscriminate actions across the province to eliminate the menace of narcotics from society.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Public Health Engineering Fazal Shakoor Khan on Thursday distributed appointment letters among newly recruited junior scale stenographers, junior clerks, draftsmen, and tracers selected through ETEA.

A ceremony in this regard was held on which was attended by Chief Engineer Centre Amjad Shamsher, officers of the PHE department, and the newly appointed employees.

Addressing the ceremony, the provincial minister said that all recruitments had been made purely on merit basis and that no recommendations or external pressure were entertained during the selection process.

He added that the transparent recruitment process conducted through ETEA reflects the KP government’s commitment to merit and good governance.

He advised the newly recruited employees to perform their duties with sincerity, honesty, and dedication, and to play an active role in further improving the performance of the PHE department.

He maintained that the provision of clean and safe drinking water to the public is among the government’s top priorities and is also a noble and rewarding responsibility, adding all employees should perform their duties with a spirit of public service.

He directed the newly recruited staff to focus on their professional responsibilities instead of becoming involved in posting and transfer matters. He remarked that postings and transfers are part of government service and appointments may be made anywhere according to departmental requirements.

The Provincial Minister congratulated the newly appointed employees and expressed his best wishes for them, hoping that through their hard work, competence, and sense of responsibility, they would ensure the best possible service to both the department and the public.

خیبر پختونخوامیں ایڈ ہاک اساتذہ کی مستقلی کے حوالے سے وزراتی کمیٹی کا اجلاس جمعرات کے روز پشاور میں خیبر پختونخوا کے صوبائی وزیر ابتدائی وثانوی تعلیم ارشد ایوب کی زیر صدارت منعقد ہوا جس میں خیبر پختنخوا کے تقریبا 14 ہزار ایڈہاک اساتذہ کی مستقلی پر کمیٹی نے اصولی طور پر اتفاق کیا۔ جس کی باقاعدہ طور پر منظوری صوبائی کابینہ سے لی جائے گی اجلاس میں وزیر قانون آفتاب عالم، مشیر خزانہ مزمل اسلم سیکرٹری ابتدائی وثانوی تعلیم محمد خالد، ایڈیشنل سیکرٹری فوزیہ، ڈائریکٹر ابتدائی وثانوی تعلیم لغمانہ سردار سمیت متعلقہ حکام نے شرکت کی۔ اجلاس میں 2022 میں بھرتی کیے گئے اساتذہ جو ریگولرائزیش سے رہ گئے تھے کو مستقل بنیادوں پر ریگولر کرنے کی منظوری دی گئی ۔اس موقع پر مشیر خزانہ نے اساتذہ کو ہدایت کی کے وہ اپنی ریگولرائزشن کے نوٹیفکیشن کے بعد فوری طور پر اپنے سی پی فنڈ اکاؤنٹ کھولیں ۔ تاکہ حکومت کی طرف سے 12%شیر مل سکے وزارتی کمیٹی کے اجلاس میں بتایا گیا کہ ان اساتذہ کی مختلف وجوہات کی وجہ سے ریگولرائزیشن میں تاخیر ہوئی تاہم وزیر تعلیم ارشد ایوب خان نےاساتذہ کی مستقلی پر انھیں مبارک باد پیش کی اور کہا کہ موجودہ حکومت کے اس احسن اقدام کی بدولت ان اساتذہ کی بہتری کے لئےیہ اقدام اٹھایا گیا ہے جو ان کا حق تھا انہوں نے کہا کہ اساتذہ کی منظوری خیبر پختنخواحکومت کی صوبائی کابینہ سے لی جائے گی واضح رہے کہ اس منظوری میں تقریبا 14 ہزار اساتذہ صوبہ کے مختلف اضلا ع کے میل اور فی میل کوفائدہ ہوگا

چیف سیکرٹری خیبر پختونخوا شہاب علی شاہ نے کہا کہ ہےکہ چین سے پاکستان میں بڑے پیمانے پر سرمایہ کاری آنے کی توقع ہے اور صوبائی حکومت کی کوشش ہے کہ اس سرمایہ کاری سےخیبر پختونخوا زیادہ سے زیادہ مستفید ہو، صوبے میں غیر ملکی سرمایہ کاری کے لئے بے پناہ مواقع موجود ہیں اور صوبائی حکومت چینی سرمایہ کاروں کے ساتھ بزنس ٹو بزنس اشتراک کے فروغ کے ذریعے مقامی صنعتکاروں کے لئے سازگار ماحول فراہم کر رہی ہے۔ وہ مقامی صنعتکاروں اور چینی سرمایہ کاروں کے درمیان بزنس ٹو بزنس اشتراک کار کو فروغ دینے کے لئے محکمہ منصوبہ بندی و ترقی کے زیر اہتمام انوسٹمنٹ کانفرنس سے بذریعہ ویڈیو لنک خطاب کر رہے تھے۔ کانفرنس میں صوبائی حکومت کے متعلقہ محکموں اور خودمختار اداروں کے حکام، سرحد چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹریز کے نمائندوں، مختلف کاروباری و تجارتی تنظیموں، سرمایہ کاروں، تاجروں اور غیر ملکی سرمایہ کاروں کی بڑی تعداد نے شرکت کی۔ چیف سیکرٹری نے کہا کہ اس کانفرنس کئ شرکاء کے بزنس آئیڈیاز کو باضابطہ طور پر وفاقی حکومت کے ذریعے سرمایہ کاری کے لئے چینی سرمایہ کاروں کے سامنے پیش کیا جائے گا۔ انہوں نے کانفرنس میں بھرپور شرکت،اس میں گہری دلچسپی لینے اور قابل عمل تجاویز پیش کرنے پر شرکاء کا شکریہ ادا کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ شرکاء کی تجاویز اور بزنس آئیڈیاز صوبے میں زیادہ سے زیادہ چینی سرمایہ کاری کو راغب کرنے میں انتہائی مفید ثابت ہوں گے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ یہ کانفرنس صرف ایک آغاز ہے اور کاروباری حضرات و صنعتکاروں کے ساتھ مشاورت اور انٹرایکشن کا سلسلہ آئندہ بھی جاری رکھا جائے گا۔
کانفرنس کے دوران متعلقہ حکام نے شرکاء کو کانفرنس کے اغراض و مقاصد، اہداف اور دیگر امور پر تفصیلی بریفنگ دیتے ہوئے بتایا کہ اس کانفرنس کا انعقاد گزشتہ سال بیجنگ میں پاکستانی اور چینی سرمایہ کاروں کے درمیان منعقدہ بزنس ٹو بزنس انویسٹمنٹ کانفرنس کے تناظر میں کیا گیا ہے۔ بریفنگ میں بتایا گیا کہ کانفرنس کے انعقاد کا مقصد چینی سرمایہ کاروں کے ساتھ بزنس ٹو بزنس اشتراک کے لئے پوٹینشل سیکٹرز میں بزنس آئیڈیاز اور سرمایہ کاری سے متعلق تجاویز کو سامنے لانا ہے۔ حکام کے مطابق صوبائی حکومت اس سلسلے میں چھ ترجیحی شعبوں کی نشاندہی کر چکی ہے جن میں زراعت، صنعت، لائیو اسٹاک، معدنیات، جنگلات اور آئی ٹی شامل ہیں۔ مقامی کاروباری حضرات ان شعبوں میں بزنس ٹو بزنس اشتراک کے تحت چینی سرمایہ کاری کو راغب کرنے کے لئے اپنے بزنس آئیڈیاز اور پروپوزلز پیش کر سکتے ہیں۔ بریفنگ میں مزید بتایا گیا کہ یہ تجاویز نئے کاروبار کے قیام یا موجودہ کاروبار کی توسیع دونوں سے متعلق ہو سکتی ہیں۔ شراکاء کو بتایا گیا کہ صوبائی حکومت ان بزنس آئیڈیاز اور پروپوزلز کو سرمایہ کاری کے لئے حتمی شکل دے کر ایک جامع پچ بک کی صورت میں وفاقی حکومت کو ارسال کرے گی تاکہ وزیر اعظم پاکستان کے متوقع دورۂ چین کے دوران انہیں چینی سرمایہ کاروں کے سامنے پیش کیا جا سکے۔کانفرنس کے شرکاء کو مزید بتایا گیا کہ خیبر پختونخوا حکومت نے مقامی اور چینی سرمایہ کاروں کے درمیان اشتراک کو عملی شکل دینے کے لئے باقاعدہ ایکشن پلان ترتیب دیا ہے اور اس مقصد کے لئے مقامی صنعتکاروں کو ون ونڈو آپریشن کے تحت تمام ضروری سہولیات فراہم کی جائیں گی جن میں ریگولیٹری مراحل میں آسانیاں، صنعتی زونز میں پلاٹس کی فراہمی اور دیگر سہولیات شامل ہیں۔ بریفنگ میں کہا گیا کہ صوبائی حکومت خام مال کے بجائے ویلیو ایڈیڈ مصنوعات کی برآمدات کی حوصلہ افزائی کرے گی اور اس سلسلے میں مقامی برآمد کنندگان کو ہر ممکن تعاون فراہم کیا جائے گا۔ اس اقدام سے صوبے میں صنعتی سرگرمیوں کو فروغ ملنے کے ساتھ ساتھ قیمتی زرمبادلہ کے حصول اور مقامی افراد کے لئے روزگار کے نئے مواقع پیدا ہوں گے۔شراکاء نے کانفرنس کے انعقاد کو صوبے میں غیر ملکی سرمایہ کاری کو راغب کرنے کے لئے صوبائی حکومت کا احسن قدم قرار دیتے ہوئے اس سلسلے میں محکمہ منصوبہ بندی و ترقی کے کردار کو قابل تحسین قرار دیا۔ شرکاء کا کہنا تھا کہ اس کانفرنس سے صوبے میں صنعتی شعبے کے فروغ، غیر ملکی سرمایہ کاری کے حصول اور مقامی صنعتکاروں کے لئے چینی سرمایہ کاروں کے ساتھ اشتراک کے نئے مواقع پیدا ہوں گے
