An high-level review meeting on the Annual Development Programme (ADP) 2025–26 was held under the chairmanship of Advisor to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Sports and Youth Affairs, Taj Muhammad Khan Tarand.

The meeting was attended by Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Muhammad Asif, Director General Sports Tashfeen Haider, the Chief Planning Officer (CPO), the Director Works, Director Youth Affairs Abbas Afridi, and other relevant officials.

During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted of the progress made on the development projects approved under the Annual Development Programme (ADP) 2025–26. Advisor for Sports Taj Muhammad Khan Tarand directed that all projects facing land-related issues should be resolved immediately in coordination with the respective district administrations and public representatives to ensure their timely implementation.

The meeting also decided that a special visit to the Malakand Region would be undertaken on Wednesday. During the visit, the Secretary for Sports, relevant officials, and public representatives from Swat will review the ongoing development projects. Instructions were also issued to ensure that all concerned members are informed well in advance.

Furthermore, the meeting reviewed the progress on the construction of eight (8) modern futsal grounds in the merged districts. Advisor for Sports Taj Muhammad Khan Tarand directed the authorities to expedite work on the project and ensure its early completion. He emphasized that providing young people with modern and high-quality sports facilities is among the government’s top priorities and that all development projects must be completed within the stipulated timeframe.
