The Directorate of Youth Affairs KP in collaboration with Puretech Organization successfully organized a three-day Capacity Building Workshop on Social Entrepreneurship and Social Action Projects (SAPs) from 15th to 17th May 2026 at Khanaspur Ayubia. The workshop brought together 40 youth participants from the Newly Merged Districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with the aim of promoting leadership, youth empowerment, social entrepreneurship, and community development.
The workshop was conducted with the support of the Directorate of Youth Affairs, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. During the event, renowned experts and trainers delivered detailed sessions on various important topics related to youth development and social change.
Dr Zafar Khan delivered comprehensive lectures on Social Entrepreneurship and highlighted the role of youth in creating innovative and sustainable solutions for social problems. Dr Altaf Qadir conducted practical sessions on Social Action Projects (SAPs) where participants learned how to identify community issues, design projects, prepare implementation plans, and develop sustainable social initiatives. Dr Sajjad Ahmad Jan delivered motivational sessions on Youth Empowerment and leadership development.
As part of the workshop activities, participants also conducted a cleanliness and environmental awareness drive in Ayubia, Khanaspur, and Nathia Gali. Youth volunteers collected waste materials from tourist spots and spread awareness regarding environmental protection and responsible tourism. The participants also visited Mushkpuri Top, Ayubia National Park, Pipeline Track, Lalazar Park, Nathia Gali City, and nearby areas for exposure learning and recreational activities. Participants appreciated the efforts of Puretech Organization and the Directorate of Youth Affairs KP for providing a valuable platform for youth learning and development.
The closing ceremony was attended by organizers, trainers, and participants where certificates were distributed among participants. Trainers appreciated the Directorate of Youth Affairs KP for supporting meaningful youth empowerment initiatives and acknowledged the active participation and dedication of the youth throughout the workshop. Puretech Organization expressed sincere gratitude to the Directorate of Youth Affairs, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for their valuable support and commitment toward empowering youth from the Newly Merged Districts through constructive educational and leadership opportunities.
