Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control, Syed Fakhar Jehan, spent Eid-ul-Adha among prisoners, patients, orphan children and the public during visits to various institutions in Buner, reflecting the spirit of compassion, public service and social responsibility on the festive occasion.
The provincial minister visited District Jail Daggar, Buner, where he met inmates, exchanged Eid greetings with them and shared moments of joy on Eid-ul-Adha. On the occasion, Syed Fakhar Jehan also inquired about issues relating to facilities and welfare of the prisoners.
Later, the minister visited District Headquarters Hospital Daggar, Buner, and inquired after patients undergoing treatment in different wards of the hospital. He met patients and their attendants, asked about the medical facilities being provided to them and conveyed Eid greetings.
Syed Fakhar Jehan also directed the hospital administration and medical staff to ensure timely and better healthcare facilities for patients.
The provincial minister also visited Aman Kor on Eid-ul-Adha, where he spent time with orphan children and shared Eid celebrations with them. The children expressed happiness and affection during their interaction with the minister. Deputy Commissioner Buner Shehryar Qamar, DPO Buner Ateeq Shah, Assistant Commissioner Daggar Dr.Hira Ahsan, MS DHQ Hospital Buner Dr. Farooq Sayar, TMO Daggar and Assistant Director Local Government were also present during the visits.
Meanwhile, on Eid day and the following days, a large number of public delegations, local elders, party workers and people from different walks of life visited the residence of Syed Fakhar Jehan to extend Eid greetings. The provincial minister thanked the visitors and conveyed his good wishes on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.
