خیبرپختونخوا کے وزیر برائے اوقاف و مذہبی امور محمد عدنان قادری نے ضلع سوات کا تفصیلی دورہ کیا، جہاں انہوں نے اوقاف، مذہبی و اقلیتی امور سے متعلق جاری ترقیاتی منصوبوں کا جائزہ لیا اور مختلف مذہبی مقامات کا دورہ کیا۔دورے کے دوران صوبائی وزیر کو ڈپٹی کمشنر سوات سلیم جان مروت نے ضلع سوات میں اوقاف سے متعلق جاری ترقیاتی منصوبوں، انتظامی امور اور دیگر متعلقہ اقدامات کے حوالے سے تفصیلی بریفنگ دی۔ اس موقع پر پارلیمانی اراکین فضل حکیم، اختر خان، نعیم خان اور سلطان روم بھی موجود تھے۔بریفنگ کے دوران صوبائی وزیر کو اوقاف کے زیر انتظام مختلف منصوبوں کی پیش رفت، جاری تعمیراتی کاموں اور عوام کو فراہم کی جانے والی سہولیات سے متعلق آگاہ کیا گیا۔ صوبائی وزیر نے متعلقہ حکام کو ہدایت کی کہ جاری منصوبوں میں کام کے معیار کو یقینی بنانے کے ساتھ ساتھ انہیں مقررہ مدت میں مکمل کیا جائے تاکہ عوام اور زائرین کو بروقت سہولیات فراہم کی جاسکیں۔دورے کے دوران صوبائی وزیر محمد عدنان قادری نے منگورہ سوات میں ایک چرچ کا افتتاح بھی کیا۔ اس موقع پر انہوں نے کہا کہ خیبرپختونخوا حکومت تمام مذاہب سے تعلق رکھنے والے شہریوں کے مذہبی حقوق، عبادت گاہوں کے تحفظ اور انہیں بنیادی سہولیات کی فراہمی کے لیے عملی اقدامات کر رہی ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اقلیتی برادریاں صوبے کا اہم حصہ ہیں اور ان کی فلاح و بہبود حکومت کی ترجیحات میں شامل ہے۔بعد ازاں صوبائی وزیر نے سیدو شریف مزار کا دورہ کیا اور وہاں تقریباً ایک کروڑ روپے کی لاگت سے جاری ترقیاتی کاموں کا جائزہ لیا۔ انہوں نے تعمیراتی کام کے معیار اور پیش رفت کا معائنہ کیا اور متعلقہ حکام کو ہدایت کی کہ زائرین کی سہولت اور تاریخی و مذہبی اہمیت کو مدنظر رکھتے ہوئے منصوبے کو معیار کے مطابق مکمل کیا جائے۔دورے کے آخری مرحلے میں صوبائی وزیر برائے اوقاف و مذہبی امور نے **بریکوٹ سوات میں نو تعمیر شدہ چرچ اور شمشان گھاٹ کا افتتاح کیا۔ اس موقع پر انہوں نے کہا کہ حکومت اقلیتی برادریوں کی عبادت اور مذہبی رسومات کی ادائیگی کے لیے مناسب سہولیات کی فراہمی کو یقینی بنا رہی ہے۔صوبائی وزیر محمد عدنان قادری نے کہا کہ خیبرپختونخوا میں بین المذاہب ہم آہنگی، مذہبی آزادی اور تمام شہریوں کے مساوی حقوق کے فروغ کے لیے اقدامات کا سلسلہ جاری رہے گا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ حکومت کی کوشش ہے کہ اقلیتی برادریوں کو اپنی مذہبی رسومات کی ادائیگی کے لیے محفوظ، باوقار اور بہتر ماحول فراہم کیا جائے۔انہوں نے متعلقہ حکام پر زور دیا کہ اوقاف اور مذہبی مقامات سے متعلق جاری منصوبوں کی باقاعدگی سے نگرانی کی جائے اور عوامی مفاد کے منصوبوں میں شفافیت، معیار اور بروقت تکمیل کو ہر صورت یقینی بنایا جائے۔

وزیر اطلاعات و تعلقات عامہ خیبرپختونخوا شفیع جان نے کہا ہے کہ آج سپریم کورٹ کے سامنے پاکستان تحریک انصاف کے پارلیمنٹیرینز کی کثیر تعداد میں شرکت نے ایک مرتبہ پھر ثابت کر دیا ہے کہ پی ٹی آئی قیادت اور کارکنان اپنے بانی چیئرمین عمران خان کی صحت اور بنیادی حقوق کے معاملے پر کسی قسم کا سمجھوتہ نہیں کرے گی۔انہوں نے کہا کہ عمران خان کی صحت سے متعلق سامنے آنے والی اطلاعات انتہائی تشویشناک ہیں۔ ایک سابق وزیراعظم اور ملک کی بڑی سیاسی جماعت کے بانی چیئرمین کو بنیادی انسانی آئینی و قانونی حقوق سے محروم رکھنا کسی صورت قابل قبول نہیں۔ عمران خان کو جعلی اور سیاسی مقدمات میں ناحق قید رکھا گیا ہے،وزیر اطلاعات نے کہا کہ عمران خان کے بنیادی حقوق کے تحفظ، ان کی صحت اور انہیں مناسب طبی سہولیات کی فراہمی کے لیے پاکستان تحریک انصاف آئینی، قانونی اور سیاسی جدوجہد جاری رکھے گی۔ اس معاملے پر خاموش نہیں بیٹھیں گے ،انہوں نے کہا کہ آج بھی عمران خان کی بہنوں کو ان سے ملاقات کی اجازت نہیں دی گئی، جو انتہائی افسوسناک ہے۔ عمران خان سے ملاقاتوں پر پابندی آئین و قانون بلکہ عدالتی احکامات کی بھی صریح خلاف ورزی ہے۔وزیر اطلاعات نے کہا کہ وزیراعلیٰ خیبرپختونخوا سہیل آفریدی پہلے ہی واضح کر چکے ہیں کہ اگر عمران خان کی بہنوں کو ان سے ملاقات کی اجازت نہیں دی جاتی تو جمعرات کو پاکستان تحریک انصاف کے پارلیمنٹیرینز اڈیالہ جیل کے باہر جمع ہوں گے۔شفیع جان نے کہا کہ عمران خان کو بہترین طبی سہولیات کی فراہمی، ان کے ذاتی معالجین تک رسائی، اہل خانہ سے ملاقات اور بنیادی حقوق کی بحالی کے مطالبات بالکل واضح ہیں،ان مطالبات کو سیاسی رنگ دینے کے بجائے انسانی، آئینی اور قانونی معاملے کے طور پر دیکھا جانا چاہیے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ انصاف کا تقاضہ ہے کہ عمران خان کی صحت اور ان سے ملاقاتوں سے متعلق دائر پٹیشنز کو جلد سماعت کے لیے مقرر کیا جانا چاہیے

وزیر اعلی خیبر پختونخوا محمد سہیل خان آفریدی کی خصوصی ہدایات پر محکمہ منصوبہ بندی و ترقی خیبر پختونخوا کی صوبائی ترقیاتی ورکنگ پارٹی کا چوتھا اجلاس منعقد ہوا۔وزیرِ اعلیٰ خیبر پختونخوا کی خصوصی ہدایات پر صوبے کے مختلف اضلاع میں سڑکوں کے اہم منصوبوں کی منظوری دی گئی ہے۔ ان منصوبوں کی تکمیل سے نہ صرف سفر کا دورانیہ نمایاں طور پر کم ہوگا بلکہ ٹریفک کی روانی بہتر ہوگی۔ اس کے علاوہ یہ منصوبے مختلف علاقوں کے درمیان رابطوں کو فروغ دیں گے، تجارت و آمدورفت کو سہولت فراہم کریں گے اور مجموعی طور پر عوام کے معیارِ زندگی میں بہتری لانے میں اہم کردار ادا کریں گے۔صوبائی ترقیاتی ورکنگ پارٹی کا اجلاس ایڈیشنل چیف سیکرٹری محکمہ منصوبہ بندی اور ترقیات خیبرپختونخوا اسلام زیب کی زیر صدارت منعقد ہوا۔اجلاس میں پی ڈی ڈبلیو پی کے اراکین اور متعلقہ محکموں کے افسران نے شرکت کی۔ فورم نے صوبے کی ترقی کے لیے روڈز، ابتدائی و ثانوی اور اعلیٰ تعلیم،، جنگلات، سوشل ویلفیئر اور بورڈ آف ریوینیو سے متعلق 16 اہم منصوبوں کی منظوری دی۔اجلاس میں سڑکوں سے متعلق ضلع باجوڑ میں گٹکئی سے لیٹئی 13 کلومیٹر بلیک ٹاپ روڈ کی بہتری و کشادگی، ضم اضلاع میں این 55 سے تورخم روڈ تک 43 کلومیٹر سڑک کی تعمیر و فزیبلٹی سٹڈی، سرکئی سے شن کمر تک بذریعہ چرگی، ڈاگری، کمر خیل اڈا نئی سڑک کی تعمیر و بلیک ٹاپنگ، تندل بگھورہ سے والی مسجد تک 35 کلومیٹر سڑک کی بہتری، تندل بغورہ سے والی مسجد تک بذریعہ تنگی، سڑکی کمہ، کچکلول کلی ڈویژن باڑہ سڑک کی بہتری، کشادگی و تعمیر، ضلع بنوں میں کاچا باچک میراخیل سے شیگی مچن خیل تک 10 کلومیٹر سڑک کی تعمیر اور بخت بلندہ، اٹک، نگرئی پائین، پنگرال شاٹی چنار، کنو گمبت اور زوال بابا حاجی آباد روٹ کی بحالی و تعمیر کے منصوبے منظور ہوئے۔ ایم ایس ڈی سیکٹر میں ضلع خیبر میں ٹرائبل انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف اپلائیڈ اینڈ ماڈرن سائنسز جمرود کے لیے سروے، ڈیٹیل ڈیزائن و فزیبلٹی سٹڈی، خیبر پختونخوا رورل انویسٹمنٹ اینڈ انسٹی ٹیوشنل سپورٹ پراجیکٹ کے تحت ضلع خیبر جمرود، ضلع کرم صدا ستین اور ضلع خیبر باڑہ میں واٹر سپلائی و سینیٹیشن کے منصوبے۔ محکمہ جنگلات میں خطرے سے دوچار کی سٹون ٹری سپیشیز کی اسیسمینٹ،فزیبلٹی سٹڈی و بحالی، زراعت سے متعلق یو ایس ایڈ کے تعاون سے گومل زام ڈیم کمانڈ ایریا ڈویلپمنٹ اور آن فارم واٹر مینجمنٹ پراجیکٹ، سماجی بہبود کے تحت ضلع چترال و بنوں میں دارالامان کا قیام اور بورڈ آف ریونیو کے تحت خیبر پختونخوا کے باقی ماندہ اضلاع میں لینڈ ریکارڈ کی کمپیوٹرائزیشن فیز ٹو، اعلیٰ تعلیم سے متعلق یونیورسٹی آف انجینئرنگ اینڈ اپلائیڈ سائنسز سوات، ابتدائی و ثانوی تعلیم سے متعلق خیبر پختونخوا میں وزیرِ اعلیٰ ماڈل سکولز کا قیام (مرحلہ اول)کے منصوبے بھی منظور ہوئے۔

Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shahab Ali Shah on Tuesday presided over a meeting of the Secretaries Committee, where he emphasized measures to ensure transparency and responsiveness in the administration of public offices at both the departmental and field levels, including district administrations.

Addressing heads of departments, the Chief Secretary said that complaints from citizens must be treated as a top priority. He stressed that the functioning of departments should not only be transparent but should also be perceived as transparent, with citizens able to feel a direct connection to the process.

On the issue of drinking water quality in the province, the Chief Secretary directed the Local Government Department to bring forward sound proposals for improvement, in addition to the role already being played by the Public Health Engineering Department. He termed water quality the biggest challenge facing the province, adding that addressing it could significantly reduce the disease burden on the population.

The Chief Secretary further instructed departmental heads to focus, alongside routine affairs, on the effective implementation of the Good Governance Roadmap, the District Service Delivery initiative – described as a strategic framework for governance and development – and the Provincial Action Plan on Law and Order.

He directed that heads of departments and district administrations put in place effective complaint redressal mechanisms for the public, coupled with feedback mechanisms to solicit public input, so that citizens have direct access to departments and district administrations for the resolution of their issues and can actively contribute suggestions on service delivery and development matters.

“We have placed 27 departments on the governance roadmap framework, under which more than four thousand activities have been assigned and are being tracked for improvement,” the chief secretary said.

He also underlined the importance of better planning practices, prior preparation and stronger groundwork to ensure financial resources are aligned accordingly and in a timely manner. “As heads of departments, your planning should help the province achieve strategic progress, and it must be supplemented with data and clearly address the needs of the public,” he said.

The meeting was given a detailed presentation on departmental performance in the areas of the Good Governance Roadmap, District Service Delivery, and measures relating to transparency and responsiveness.

The meeting was attended by the Senior Member Board of Revenue, the Additional Chief Secretary (Home), the Additional Chief Secretary (General), and all administrative secretaries.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Higher Education Regulatory Authority (HERA) has initiated action against an unregistered nursing college in Timergara, Lower Dir, for allegedly conducting academic activities without mandatory registration with the regulatory authority.

According to a notice issued by HERA, Daneen College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences, Walai Kandaw, Bajaur Road, Timergara, Lower Dir, has been operating without obtaining the required registration from HERA. The authority also stated that the institution admitted students to its BS Generic Nursing programme without obtaining prior registration from HERA.

HERA termed the admissions and operation of the institution without registration a violation of the relevant laws and regulations. The college administration has been directed to appear before the HERA chairman at 11am on August 11, 2026, to explain its position.

The authority warned that failure to appear or non-compliance could result in legal action against the institution, including imposition of fines, closure, blacklisting and judicial proceedings. The notice also mentioned the possibility of referring the matter to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), among other measures available under the law.

HERA has also informed relevant authorities about the matter. The Deputy Commissioner of Lower Dir has been requested to take necessary measures to protect the interests of students, while the Registrar of Khyber Medical University Peshawar has been asked to take appropriate action regarding the institution’s affiliation, if any, and to ensure that no further admissions are allowed before HERA registration.

The regulatory authority has also requested the Secretary of Information and Public Relations, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, to publish an alert in daily newspapers to inform parents and students about the status of the institution and help protect students from potential academic and financial loss.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has taken revolutionary steps to strengthen and stabilize the energy infrastructure for the development of the industrial sector and promotion of investment in the province. A high-level working group has been established to resolve the electricity problems faced by industrial zones and promote investment, which consists of elected public representatives of the province, senior government officers and representatives of industrial consumers. The working group will formulate feasible and sustainable proposals to ensure uninterrupted power supply in industrial areas.
In this regard, an important meeting of the working group and key stakeholders associated with the energy sector in the province was held under the chairmanship of Secretary Energy & Power Nisar Ahmed. The meeting was attended by Syed Zahir Shah, Chief Executive of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Transmission and Grid System Company KPT&GSC, established by the provincial government to transmit electricity in the province, Chief Executive PEDO Engineer Nawar ul Haq, General Manager Peshawar Electric Supply Company PESCO Habib-ur-Rehman, Chief Executive Hazara Electric Supply Company (HAZECO), Chief Executive Tribal Electric Supply Company (TESCO), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zones Development and Management Company (KPEZDMC), and representatives of the Implementation and Regulatory Affairs Department (MIRAD).
Meanwhile, during the meeting, various proposals were discussed in detail to ensure the future load demand, including power infrastructure in industrial zones of the province, power demand, grid issues and the national Transmission System Expansion Plan (TSEP).
Moreover, the meeting also discussed in detail the formal transfer of transmission line assets from PEDO to KPT&GSC, in which the tripartite agreement to control the transfer of assets between the respective distribution companies (DISCOs) was reviewed and it was decided that a roadmap would be formulated soon to finalize the agreement, which would be helpful for sustainable distribution of power and modern energy infrastructure for the development of the industrial sector in the future.
At this juncture, the Secretary Energy & Power Nisar Ahmed emphasized that strengthening and stabilizing the basic energy infrastructure for the development of the industrial sector is the top priority of the current provincial government, for which strong communication and consensus among all stakeholders is very important. He assured that the Department of Energy and Electricity and the Department of Industries and Crafts will take vigorous steps to raise their voices at high-level forums.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Aftab Alam, Advocate, chaired an important meeting through Zoom to review the legal status of various writ petitions and other matters concerning the interpretation and application of law.

Advocate General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Faisal Utmankhel, Additional Attorney General, Inspector General Prisons Rehan Gul Khattak, Special Secretary Home and Tribal Affairs Shagufta Naveed, and senior officials from the Excise, Law and Home departments and other relevant departments participated in the meeting.

The participants reviewed in detail various sub judice writ petitions, including four writ petitions seeking prohibition, legal opinions provided by the Law Department, discrepancies in relevant laws, and legal opinions of the Advocate General’s Office.

The meeting also discussed the legal concept of acting beyond statutory authority, the applicability of federal laws at the provincial level, and matters relating to jurisdiction. The participants examined circumstances in which the relevant parties could file a Civil Petition for Leave to Appeal (CPLA), particularly in cases involving simultaneous consideration of federal and provincial laws and where conflicting or differing judicial decisions exist.

The meeting also reviewed matters concerning remission granted to prisoners by the Prisons Department and cases in which CPLAs had been filed or could potentially be filed. The cases of prisoners who had already been granted remission, as well as those who had been denied remission, were discussed.

The participants examined the authority to grant or deny remission in light of relevant laws and judicial decisions, including the jurisdiction of the provincial government and concerned departments. Matters relating to proposed amendments to the relevant law were also considered.

The meeting stressed the need to ensure full compliance with court orders and relevant laws and to prepare compliance reports in a timely manner. It was agreed that where a judicial decision adversely affects a legitimate government or provincial interest, the possibility of approaching the appropriate legal forum, including through a CPLA, should be examined strictly in accordance with law.

The participants also agreed to strengthen coordination and consultation among the Additional Attorney General, Excise Department, Law Department, Home Department and other relevant institutions to formulate an effective future course of action.

Law Minister Aftab Alam directed the concerned authorities to ensure full compliance with legal requirements and judicial orders in all sub judice matters. He further directed that effective coordination be maintained between the Advocate General’s Office and the relevant departments to present the government’s position on a strong legal footing before the courts.

وزیراعلیٰ خیبرپختونخوا کے معاونِ خصوصی برائے داخلہ و قبائلی امور طارق سعید مروت کی زیرِ صدارت ضلع لکی مروت کے ترقیاتی اور انتظامی امور سے متعلق اہم اجلاس آج محکمہ داخلہ و قبائلی امور کے کانفرنس روم میں منعقد ہوا۔اجلاس میں ڈپٹی کمشنر لکی مروت، محکمہ تعلیم، محکمہ صحت، پبلک ہیلتھ، مواصلات و تعمیرات، آبپاشی اور محکمہ زراعت کے ضلعی افسران نے شرکت کی۔اجلاس کے دوران ضلع لکی مروت میں جاری ترقیاتی منصوبوں کی مالی و طبعی پیش رفت، فنڈنگ، لاگت اور تکمیل کی صورتحال کا تفصیلی جائزہ لیا گیا۔ مختلف محکموں میں دستیاب اور خالی آسامیوں کی صورتحال اور عوامی خدمات کی مؤثر فراہمی کے لیے ضروری اقدامات پر بھی غور کیا گیا۔اجلاس میں اے ڈی پی 2026-27۔ کے تحت ضلع لکی مروت کے لیے نئی ترقیاتی اسکیموں کی تجاویز کا بھی جائزہ لیا گیا۔ معاونِ خصوصی نے ہدایت کی کہ نئی اسکیموں کے انتخاب میں عوامی ضرورت، بنیادی سہولیات، ترقیاتی ترجیحات اور عملی افادیت کو خصوصی اہمیت دی جائے۔طارق سعید مروت نے کہا کہ لکی مروت کی ترقی اور عوامی مسائل کا بروقت حل حکومت کی ترجیحات میں شامل ہے۔ انہوں نے متعلقہ حکام کو ہدایت کی کہ جاری ترقیاتی منصوبوں کی مؤثر نگرانی کی جائے، سرکاری وسائل کا بہترین استعمال یقینی بنایا جائے اور عوامی سہولیات کی فراہمی میں مزید بہتری لائی جائے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ لکی مروت کے عوام کو بنیادی سہولیات کی فراہمی، ترقیاتی عمل کو تیز کرنے اور عوامی مسائل کے عملی حل کے لیے تمام دستیاب وسائل بروئے کار لائے جائیں گے۔ ضلعی انتظامیہ اور متعلقہ محکمے عوامی خدمت کے عمل کو مزید مؤثر اور نتیجہ خیز بنائیں۔معاونِ خصوصی نے اس عزم کا اظہار کیا کہ لکی مروت کی ترقی، عوامی فلاح اور پائیدار بنیادوں پر شہری سہولیات کی بہتری کے لیے ترقیاتی سرگرمیوں کی مسلسل نگرانی اور متعلقہ اداروں کے ساتھ مؤثر رابطہ جاری رکھا جائے گا۔
