Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa conducts a visit to GT Road Peshawar to inspect the ongoing beautification and restoration work

Upon the directions of the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Sohail Afridi, the Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Shahab Ali Shah, along with the Director General of the Peshawar Development Authority and relevant officials, conducted a visit to GT Road Peshawar to inspect the ongoing beautification and restoration work. During the visit, the Chief Secretary inspected the restoration work of roundabouts, landscaping, and other activities and appreciated the efforts of the PDA team. The Chief Secretary was briefed on the project’s progress and directed that the work on GT Road from Chamkani to Karkhano Market be expedited in line with the Chief Minister’s vision.
The KP Government has embarked on a mission to make Peshawar a model city, and work in this regard has already commenced. The Chief Secretary’s visit underscores the government’s commitment to transforming Peshawar into a modern and vibrant city. The beautification and restoration work on GT Road is part of a broader initiative to enhance the city’s infrastructure and improve the quality of life for its citizens.
